8th September 2016 | Dublin, Ireland

Project Managers are the Chameleons of the professional world since their personalities and competencies appear to be a paradox of contradictions

Raymond Poole, Founder of PM Summit“ “

It is our great pleasure to invite you all to attend the 2016 PM Summit. It is hard to believe that almost a year has passed since last year’s event. We are delighted to see so many registrants from last year attending and are especially glad to see new ones too from organisations such as Dept. of Health, Hewlett Packard, Revenue Commissioners, NRA, Janssen, to name but a few.

This year we have organised a very diverse line-up of speakers who will touch on many of the critical components of managing projects, programmes and portfolios. Our speakers have travelled from all over Ireland, UK, USA, Sweden, and Switzerland to share their knowledge and experiences with you.

In addition, following feedback from delegates last year, we are pleased to provide a number of workshops and SIGs for you to attend. We also have an exhibitor’s hall where you can find out about the latest developments in PPM solutions, and an SME corner where you can catch up with some of the presenters from the day for one-to-one conversations.

We hope to see you all at the evening BBQ networking event as we have a special guest, Peter McVeigh who is a promising young singer/songwriter, performing an intimate acoustic session.

Therefore we invite you to sit back, relax and enjoy the day making new friends and sharing knowledge with likeminded PPM practitioners.

ME PM Summit 2016 is of value to anyone who has an interest in Project/

Programme Management, whether they are current practitioners or aspiring Project Managers. It is an event designed to bring together like-minded individuals so everyone may gain from each other through the sharing of knowledge. Some of the compelling reasons to attend are:

• Networking – Over 300 Project/Programme Management professionals to network with

• Knowledge Transfer – With over 20 presentations, multiple Workshops and Exhibitor presentations there is ample opportunity for knowledge transfer to take place

• Continued Professional Development – The PM Summit is accredited by both the PMI and Engineers Ireland for PDU/CPD units.

What last year’s delegates had to say…

“The whole event was well organised with great speakers and an excellent venue…”

“Very well organised event. Good speakers, timing well managed throughout the day, good management and notification to all of what happening throughout the day”

“Very good day with presentations pitched well at 45mins and good subject matter”

“Overall a well-structured and interesting day that added to the overall project management knowledge base”

“Excellent conference - great venue, great topics, great speakers and run very efficiently. Very enjoyable and informative day - will definitely attend again in future.”

Women in Project Management Sponsored by PMIS Ltd.With an ever-growing trend of women managing projects, and as a result of an under-representation of women at last year’s event, the PM Summit 2016 will include a Women in Project Management Special Interest Group. This group will be invaluable in addressing the challenges encountered by women in PM, as well as showcasing some key female players in the profession. But these presentations are not just for women – male delegates will find them valuable too!

Women in Project Management SIG Presentations:

• Women in Project Management presented by Martina Ryan

• Women in PM Top Panel Discussion
