PMG Performance highlights (As on 01st October 2018)
Highlights of PMG’s performance since its inception in 2013 include:
1. More than 3,100 issues raised on PMG’s portal pertaining to 718
projects have been resolved (including those issues that required no further
action) with anticipated investment of Rs 29.77 lakh crore. (appx).
2. 509 Inter-ministerial meetings have been convened with Union
Ministries/Departments for resolving project realted clearances/issues.
3. 247 meetings have been convened with the Chief Secretaries of the
States for resolution of issues pertaining to State Governments.
4. 263 projects having 588 issues with anticipated investment of
Rs.10,78,566 crore (appx) are currently under consideration of PMG.

5. 75 Key approval granting processes in the Central Government for
setting up of new projects have been taken up for digitization and
integration with ‘e-nivesh monitor’ portal, wherin cases pending beyond
timelines can be tracked and followed up by PMG. 71 services out of 75
have already become functional and integrated with ‘e-nivesh monitor’
portal. PMG monitors the pace of disposal of business thorugh theses 71
functionally integrated services. Remaining 04 services are at different
stages of digitization and integration.
6. 29 Key approval granting processes in the State Government for
setting up of new projects have been identified/shortlisted by PMG and State
Governments are being advised to digitize all such services on priority.
Digitization of all such sevices is helping States to achieve a better ranking in
Ease of Doing Business (EODB) Index and attract more investment in
projects. The progress achieved by States in this regard has been reflected
on ‘e-nivesh monitor’.
7. PMG has tracked about 602 projects (anticipated investment appx. 21
lakh crore) whose pending issues have been resolved/disposed through
PMG mechanism by March-2018 and as per information collected/compiled,
335 projects have been partly/fully commissioned with actual flow of
investment amounting to Rs.11.43 lakh crore till 31.03.2018. Besides, 222
projects were under construction/implementation as on 31.03.2018 with
actual flow of investments amounting to Rs 2.09 lakh crore till 31st March
2018. (anticipated total investment would be Rs. 7.90 lakh crore on
completion)
