1. Download Primus_GLADIUS10000S from our website primusgaming.com/software
2. Connect the gaming mouse to an available USB port in your PC.
Installation process
a. Double click on Primus_GLADIUS10000S_Gaming_Mouse_Setup.exe file.
b. You will be prompted to select the setup language. The available languages are English or
Spanish. Click the down arrow to choose the preferred language. Once done, click OK.
• Select the destination where you want the software to be installed. We recommend keeping the
default path C:\Program Files (x86)\Primus\GLADIUS1000S, however you can choose a
different location if desired. The software will require 14.4MB of free disk space. Click Next to
continue.

• You are now ready to install your brand-new Primus Gladius10000S gaming mouse. Click Install
to begin.

• When downloading is complete, click on Finish to conclude the installation.
III. MAINSOFTWARE INTERFACE

• Double-click on the shortcut created on your PC desktop called: GLADIUS10000S Gaming Mouse,
to open the main graphic interface.
• This is the main interface screen for the PRIMUS PMO-201 gaming mouse. This application allows
you to modify the main mouse functions, buttons, response speed and profiles, through a single,
user-friendly application.

Basics settings.
Button settings: The software allows you to apply different configurations to the buttons.
• Mouse button: Left, Right, Scroll click, Scroll Up/Down, DPI+, DPI-, Forward and Backward.
• Click on any mouse button that you want to configure. This will bring up a secondary menu
with the available commands. Make your selection, click Apply to save this configuration.

Settings for video games: Fire Key, single key, DPI, etc.
Note: Any mouse button can be programed with the settings listed above.
• Fire key: You can configure any mouse button as a trigger key. It is possible to change the
frequency and speed of this action through the pull-down menu.
• Click on the button you want to change to display the button menu. Once selected, press the
option Fire key to configure.
• For illustration purposes, we will put the left button of the mouse so that it executes the
shooting option.
• Select the keyboard button to assign such action. For this example, we will choose the "A" key and
a repetition frequency of 10 times. Click on OK to save your configuration when finished.
• Single key: You can assign to a mouse button any character of your keyboard and display it on
screen. For illustration purposes, we will program the left mouse button and assign the "A" key.
Click on OK to save your configuration when finished.
• Multimedia and internet command: Media playback, Play / Pause, Next, Previous, Stop, Mute,
Volume up, Volume down, Email, Windows key, Calculator, Explorer and Start page. Click on Apply
to save your configuration when finished.
• Restore button: This button allows you to restore all the modifications made to the mouse
buttons to their factory default values.
• Polling rate: This function allows to control the mouse polling rate and to modify the frequency
that the mouse informs its position to the computer. You can choose between the 4 available
options (125-250-500-1000). Click on Apply to save your configuration when finished.

• Light effects: Through the software you can modify the light and intensity in the mouse, going
through a multiple range of effects and colors. Select among the 6 lighting effects and then
modify the color you want to see in the mouse. Click on Apply to save your configuration when
finished.
• DPI Setting: This menu allows the user to modify the sensitivity level and response of the mouse.
• Click on the DPI Switch Button

• Configure the DPI setting separately or as desired. Each of the 5 levels are in a range between
100 to 10000DPI, which can be cycled through the DPI + and DPI- buttons. After selecting your
setting, click on Apply to save your configuration when finished.
Profiles
There are 5 profiles for videogames available, which are very easy to configure. In each profile,
multiple commands can be configured, such as: button settings, polling rate, light effects, DPI
settings, etc. Click on Apply to save your configuration when finished.

Advance settings.
• Parameters: You can also find these configurations in Mouse Properties for Windows. This menu
allows the user to fine-tune the mouse's sensitivity, scroll speed. Double-click speed and response
speed.

• Macro manager: This menu allows you to assign the macros to be executed by the mouse. The
Macros software capacity in terms of the number of sequences that can be configured will depend
on the mouse’s internal memory. However, each macro only supports the pressing of up to 25
keys per sequence
• New macro: From the main interface click on the New button to create a new macro, then
enter the desired name for the Macro under Macro Name. In this illustration, we will use Test
to identify the macro. Click OK when done.
Click on Start record. The software will begin to record the keystrokes that you want to include in
the Macro.
Select Stop record at the end of your sequence.

• Several options can be selected for the Macro key:
• Loop times: you can program the number of times between 1 y 255 you want to repeat the
key sequence that you previously entered.
• Record delays: when this option is enabled, it automatically records the interval between the
pulsation of each key.
• Save: you can also save a copy with the same name of your macro in any location you choose
on your PC, from where you can open or delete it.
• Load: to open the macro that you just saved, click the Load button and look for the location
where you previously saved the macro. Click Open to continue.
• How to assign a Macro to the mouse button: click the button you wish to assign the new
command sequence. Then click on the Macro option on the menu. For the purposes of this
guide, we will use the right click button as an example.
Select a macro from the list you previously created and press OK to continue.
Note: If the list of macros is empty, it means that no sequence has been recorded yet. In this
case, return to the previous section to configure your own macros.

You can also select the repetition options as follows:
• Repeat the specified number or press any key to end: this option is enabled by default and
takes the values that were entered at the time you recorded the macro.
• Repeat until you press any key to end: a single press will deactivate the continuous execution
of the cycle.
• Repeat until the key released: when the Macro button is held down, it will continue executing
the sequence until the button is released.
When finished, click Apply to save the parameters that you just configured.

Uninstallation.
There are two ways to uninstall the software:
a. After clicking Start, go to the folder named Primus-Gladius10000S. Right click to select
Uninstall, and execute the instructions as instructed on the screen.
b. You can also open the Control Panel/Program and Features/Gladius10000S Gaming Mouse,
select the program. Right click and press Uninstall and execute the instructions as instructed
on the screen.
