One for every need The new rollers are available in three versions with compaction widths from 1800 to 2300 mm / 71 to 91 inches and a maximum operation mass of up to 27,000 kgs / 59,500 lbs. They are ideally suited for a wide range of high-quality applications. In addition, the fully hydraulic propulsion system increases reliability and reduces maintenance costs. Modern modular modelsAs with all Dynapac rollers, these new models are built on a modular concept, which simplifies service and repair procedures substantially. Since the modular concept includes the use of shared components for several models, stock-keeping of spare parts is easier to manage, enabling quicker service to end-users.

Pure perfectionA perfect end result is dependant on the performance of the roller and on the skills of the operator. In a Dynapac, the operator can take advantage of a highly ergonomic and user-friendly operator environment. The spacious asymmetrical cab can be equipped with air conditioning or ACC.

The operator unit with rotating and sliding seat and steering module provide outstanding visibility. The visual display panel shows all relevant information clearly and simply. With the optional temperature sensor and unique Dynapac DCA-A compaction analyzer, the work progress is fully monitored. In fact, you even have the option to adjust tyre pressures whilst compacting.

The pass-count and asphalt temperature are presented in real-time on the operator screen - providing vital information for a successful compaction job.Compaction is precision work. In order to reach the right density and obtain the right

surface texture, a series of parameters must be monitored. By using the Dynapac DCA-A compaction analyzer this delicate task becomes a lot easier. Graphic, real-time display of temperature and number of passes, plus the support of GPS positioning, help you in making every job world class.

Furthermore, DCA-A provides full statistics, documentation and thorough data for quality analysis. The rolling pattern can be played back and all results printed on paper or to a PDF file. It is easily understandable how these benefits improve quality and clients’ trust in your capabilities. Dynapac’s DCA-A analysis tool takes the guesswork out of compaction.

PerformanceA pneumatic tyred roller is a specialized machine – with a wide range of applications. Finishing and sealing are obvious ones but soil compaction can also be carried out with top quality. A significant feature is the smooth start-stop procedure when changing driving direction. The wide base tyres, air-on-the-run option and back-up sprinkler further enhance the end result quality.

Never settle for second best

SafetyThe braking system has two separate circuits which are able to maintain full braking capacity even if a damaged hose or other failure should disable one of the circuits.

Visibility and manoeuvrability are safety corner-stones. Dynapac’s cab design, as well as the 4-post ROPS, minimizes obstruction of the operator’s field of view. Also, precise steering and the powerful braking system keep the operator in control.

ErgonomicsIn a Dynapac, the seat, steering wheel, dashboard and controls are built as an integrated unit, easily adjusted to personal preferences. The entire operator unit can slide and rotate in order to give the best visibility and working conditions possible. Add to that a wide range of options, including air condition or ACC, as well as on-screen troubleshooting informa-tion. A Dynapac is built for long-term productivity.

Environmental careEvery Dynapac is designed and built with focus on reduced environmental impact. Optimized engines reduce fuel consumption and emissions, and engines complying with Stage 3A are fitted as standard. Bio-degradable hydraulic fluid can be used, and it is easy to change engine liquids and hydraulic fluid without risk of spillage. To reduce noise, the cooling fans are thermostatically controlled, and the entire machine produces a surprisingly low level of ambient noise.

ServiceabilityDaily service points are few and the large hood and location of filters and filler caps make routine service tasks smooth and fast. And in order to assist the operator, service information is displayed on the dashboard LCD. Several Dynapac models share many common components and sub-systems. This modularity provides cost reductions possibilities - from development to service, spare part management and service technicians’ training and education.

Comfort in mindThe operator unit is designed with operator comfort and safety in mind. The whole unit can slide and rotate to give the best visibility and working conditions possible.

To achieve the same ground pressure on front and rear tyres, the ballast is distributed evenly, whether water, sand or steel is used.

The new CP224/274 rollers are under three

metres in height with Cab or ROPS.
