Student Selection
Establish a well defined criteria• Be at least 16 years of age by the first day of class;• Behind in credits according to grade;• Reside in service area• Have not yet obtained a high school diploma or GED;• Have a minimum eighth (8th) grade reading level as
assessed by LACC through a program-administered examination and/or other multiple measures, e.g., CST scores, CAHSEE, and transcripts;

• Additional three hours of math and English instruction per week
• Focus is on English 101 and Math 125• Reinforces college study skills
Pre-Assessment Intensive Course
2 Day Workshop(5 hour days)-Designed to teach students how to take an assessment exam-Prepares them to take any standardized test
Overall Goals for CPR
