Set up

• Need an internet connection, ideally wifi

• Download iPadio app to android phone/tablet/iPhone/iPad

• Register as a new user

• Or register on website

• This creates a channel • e.g. username andydiament

• Channel – http://www.ipadio.com/channels/AndyDiament

• Organisation – have difference accounts/channels for different groups e.g. AS, A2

Choose Audio to work with podcasts

Press the Big Red record Button

Page 8: Podcasts with i padio

Talk – it’s recording – press pause when done

Page 9: Podcasts with i padio

Recording over – press Upload Now

Page 10: Podcasts with i padio

Fill in basic details – click upload now

It’s Uploading

Look at the list of recordings – click on one

Play a recording – artwork loaded on website

Options to get

• Copy and paste link for broadcast into moodle link or page

• Embed player, though does not work in all browsers

• Set up RSS feed from iPadio to course to show most recent recordings in a block – ask for moodle support

• Students can listen online, with client on device

• Students can download files as mp3 files and copy them to their own devices or PC media player (iTunes etc)

• Set up RSS feed to update recordings e.g. iTunes
