Summary of Research

When we asked to visit and observe a shop, I thought about several shops that I like to buy

from them, and then I decide to visit Dubai festival City after my work time.

So I went to Dubai festival City and I chose to visit a nice shop sales apparel, accessories and

shoes which called FOREVER 21.

First I went around the shop to see how they display their products then I observed the Point of

Sales (checkout) to see which kind of products they choose and they was using accessories and

shoes as their Point of Sales, also they displayed it by using special box to but the shoes in plus

using special stand for accessories, and they used scanner reading a barcode for the products.

Our POS Products

So how can I apply some of the ideas I've seen, since we will sell pants, scarves and rings, I

choose rings as Our POS, because it will have high profit margin.

For recording our stock inventory & sales I will use Microsoft Access (Small Business –

Goods Template) as showing below, because it is a great program provides a recording function,

which will help us to know the amount of our stock inventory & sales.
