We are pleased to welcome Sarah Geis to NeighborWorksCapital as Senior Loan Officer Sarah has over 17 years ofprogressive finance and management experience with inshydepth knowledge of community development affordablehousing and commercial real estate lending For the pastfour years Sarah was Director of Lending at Mile High

Community Loan Fund and prior to that she worked as Vice President CommunityDevelopment Lending at US Bank for ten years She has a BA cum laude fromBenedictine College and MBA from the University of Phoenix Sarah has held variousvolunteer positions in the Denver community most recently as Board member and BoardChair of Community Resources and Housing Development Corp (CRHDC) for 10 years

Strategic Growth Fund Update

NeighborWorks Capitalrsquos new Strategic GrowthFund (SGF) received 33 proposals fromNeighborWorks organizations requesting over $42million in enterprise level capital earlier this summerThis fund is capitalized with a $5 million ProgramRelated Investment from The Kresge Foundation and

a $25 million allocation of NeighborWorks Capital net assets

Eight proposals were invited to apply for in this inaugural round of $75 million foractivities that would expand an existing line of business add a complimentary businessline or a geographic expansion Applications have been received and are in underwritingWe look forward to announcing these SGF borrowers this Spring
