Geographical features
Mountains: Sudetes and Carpathian in the south of Poland. The
highest part of the Carpathians is the Tatra Mountains, along
Poland's southern border.
Rivers: the main river are Vistula and Oder. The Vistula and the
Oder flow into the Baltic Sea, as do numerous smaller rivers in
Pomerania.
Lakes: The largest lakes are Lake Śniardwy and Lake Mamry in
Masuria, and Lake Łebsko and Lake Drawsko in Pomerania.

Natural resources: the most abundant natural resource is coal. Other resources are: zinc, copper, oil and natural gas, salt, rocky buildings.

Agriculture: Poland has a large number of farms that are leading producer of food in the European Union.
Turism: a part from the main cities (Warsaw, Krakow, etc.), visitors are attracted by beautiful mountains, sea-coast and lake reserves. Zakopane in the Tatra mountains is very popular for skiing and hiking.
