1) Due to its design the asymmetrical implant shOuld not be implanted in retro­pectoral. It can only be inserted in retro-glandular.

2) Insertion : Depending on the patient, the prosthesis can be implanted

• in sub mammary, • in aerolar (peri-areolar, transareolar, ... ).

3) Due to its design it is almost impossible for the asymmetrical implant to "rotate". (However, the patient must wear for 2 months the bra especially made for this implant - See our FINESTYLE contention garments range before choosing the bra).

In the same way, the detachment should be 1,5 to 3 cm greater than the prosthesis dimensions and follow the prosthesis shape in so far as possible.

Don't hesitate to detach more and more by the interior side of the implant (by the sternum) and by the upper side. This will allow the best aesthetical results and a more natural breast shape.

By the submammary fold, adapt to the patient morphology as with round prosthesis.

4) Prior to implantation, well identify the left (AL) prosthesis and the right (AR) prosthesis. When implanting, assure of the well placement, either thanks to tactile marks, or using visual marks located on the top of the upper prosthesis part, which should be in the vertical line of the areola (see technical form).

CONSEJOS DE IMPLANTACION �

1) Dado su concepci6n, la pr6tesis asimetrica no debe ser implantada en retro­pectoral. Solo debe ser implantada en retro-glandular.

2) Via de implantaciOn : En funcci6n de la paciente, esta pr6tesis puede ser implantada de las maneras siguientes:

• por via submamaria • por via areolar (peri-:-areolar, transareolar, ... ) .

3) Dado su concepci6n, el implante asimetrico tiene pocas posibilidades de « girar N. (Sin embargo, es imperativo que la paciente lleve durante 2 meses el .. ) sujetador especialmente concebido para eso - Ver nuestra linea de ropa de t . J contenci6n FINESTYLE antes de elegir el sujetador). ---

En el mismo sentido, el desprendimiento por todos lados de la pr6tesis debe ser 1,5 a 3 cm superior a las dimensiones del implante y si es posible, seguir la forma de la pr6tesis.

No faltar desprender un poco mas al nivel de la parte interior (cerca del sternum) y de la parte superior, para obtener los mejores resultados esMticos y tener una forma de senos mas natural.

Cerca del pliego submamario, adaptarse a la morfologia de la paciente de la misma manera que con Los implantes redondos.

4) Antes de la implantacion, bien identificar el implante derecho- (AR) y el implante izquierdo (AL). Durante la intervencion, asegurarse de la buena posicion de las protesis, sea con las marcas tactiles, 0 gracias a la marca visual. Esta marca se encuentra ariba de la parte superior del implante, y normalmente debe encontrarse en la alineaci6n vertical de la areola (ver la ficha tecnica).
