The first part allowsstudents to apply theoretical concepts seen during their studies on real systems they are likely to encounter duringtheir professional life. 5 systems are studied during practical classes : solar thermal energy, solar photovoltaic,geothermal heat pump, absorption chillers and cogeneration.
The second part concerns energy storage. It covers the basic concepts of heat storage for buildings, industry andelectricity production. This course explains the energy storage principle for electricity and heat, the interest ofsuch systems and their integration. It mainly focuses on the dimensioning of heat storage in the framework ofbuildings, energy and environmental processes.
