VET CLINICVeterinary Treatment FacilityHave you been to the Veterinary Treatment Facility? The Veterinary Treatment Facility (VTF) offers vaccinations, an out-patient clinic, heart worm testing, microchip identification, health certificates, pet registration and over-the-counter sales. General information, over-the-counter sales, prescription refills, appointment scheduling, pet registration, and record sign-outs are available during normal office hours. Call for appointment dates and times. When does your pet need a physical exam?Every pet should have a yearly exam with the veterinarian. Pets over the age of seven should have exams every six months. Pets age at a more rapid rate than people. Early detection of problems increases treatment success. California law requires a minimum of one exam per year at the distributing facility for prescription medications. This establishes your doctor patient relationship.
