www.irbyconstruction.com 1-601-709-IRBY (4729) PONDEROSA-GRIMES 230KV TRANSMISSION LINE CONSTRUCTION PROJECT Entergy Texas (an Entergy Corporation subsidiary) provides power to over 450,000 customers in 27 Texas counties. In September 2015, Entergy contracted Irby affiliate company Dashiell Engineering (Irby and Dashiell are Quanta Services subsidiary companies (PWR:NYSE)) to construct 40 miles of 230kV transmission line including steel and concrete poles between Entergy’s Ponderosa and Grimes substations in southeast Texas. Irby Construction contracted Auger Services to construct the foundations and Winco (also a Quanta Services subsidiary company) to pull lead line and help clip the shield wire via helicopter.
