My Life in Pontevedra

It took me several days to get to Pontevedra from Ohio.

Sunday:Car ride to Cleveland, Ohio (3 hours)

Monday:

Train to New York City (14 hours)

Tuesday: Subway to Airport (2 hours)

Wednesday:Plane to Madrid (12 hours with layovers)

Thursday: Train to Pontevedra (9 hours)

When I arrived, a volunteer from Erasmus helped me find a house, get a phone, and set-up a bank account

I went on a Night Tour of Pontevedra with the Erasmus Students.

We like to cook American & Mexican food for our friends.

I go to the beach 2 or 3 times per week.

I made Macaroni and Cheese for an International Cooking Competition. I won first place!

On my 2nd day in Pontevedra, I was in the newspaper.

I organized a trip for the auxiliaries to Islas Cies. We went swimming in October!

I went to a festival with jousting

I explored small towns and big cities but my favorite is Pontevedra.

I went on a boat ride with a friend!

I traveled to Berlin and Amsterdam.

I visited Porto, Portugal twice!

I went to the circus.

I had to have my braces repaired!

I cooked a huge turkey for Thanksgiving.

I organized rallies to show solidarity with international events

I love Galicia!
