Announcements Continued

Confraternity of Christian Doctrine (CCD) This year, Saints Peter and Paul Parish will be enrolling CCD students in the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS). CGS will be the program for children ages 3 through 4th grade. CCD begins in October.

Last year, religious education was held on Sunday mornings after Mass for grades 6 - 12. A pilot program for CGS was held at the same time. This year, CGS will hold one session on Wednesday afternoons for 3rd and 4th graders. Over the next several years, we plan to move all sessions to Sunday morning.

Grades 6 - 12 will continue to be held on Sunday morning. A more complete calendar will be available at the first session.

Fees are $25 per child. You may register your child at the parish office.

Basics of the Catholic Faith Beginning Aug. 30. 6-7:30 PM ~ Pentecost Room

You might join this class: to see if Sister Colletta was always right. to accompany a friend. for fun! You might bypass the class: If coffee hours are enough for you. if you “feel” your religion, not think it. if you never steal time from your family. Contact Carol Yalbuw for more information. 983-9249 Sunday 8/20 is the Family Rosary and Potluck! Rosary at 4:30 PM in the church, and Potluck in the Parish Center at 5PM. Families with kids and individuals are all welcome!

CONFIRMATION

There will be a Confirmation class for all of those being confirmed on Aug. 27 after the 8:00 a.m. Mass in the Pentecost Room. Please plan to attend.

There will be a Confirmation practice on Aug. 31 for both the Confirmandi and their sponsors at 7PM in the Church.

With school starting, the new Parish Office Hours will begin this week. 8:00AM to 12:00PM, M - TH. The bulletin deadline is Wednesday Noon.
