?? What is Street Fashion??• Street fashion is fashion that is considered to have emerged not from

studios, but from the grassroots. Street fashion is generally associated with youth culture, and is most often seen in major urban centers.  Street fashion is not specific to one type of dressing, but instead covers a host of different styles, all unique.

• It is this style that has begun to influence the creators of high fashion. The tight-fitted jeans once favored only by those wearing the street fashion known as punk now are a common element in high fashion designer wear.

??What is Sub Culture??

A subculture is a cultural subgroup. They are considered 'opposite from the mainstream culture because of their unique trends.

Subcultures are judged by what they look like, what they wear, where they live, etc.

Subcultures have distinctive styles of dress, activity and music. They form when the main stream culture fails to meet the needs of a particular group of people.

Visual key look is even more bold. There are no strict rules when it comes to clothes and makeup. Garish streaks of colour in the hair and face are often derived from characters in manga comics.  the look is a re-import of a look from Japan.

Metro City Residents with Emo style

• Emo emerged from the "emotional hardcore Punk" or "emocore" Emo broke into mainstream culture in the early 2000s followed by the emergence of the subgenre “scream”

• Youth culture experts say the Emo scene is the fastest growing trend out there. But because of its dramatic aspects, its adherents are sometimes subject to bullying, especially since Emo randomly picks up elements from Goth and punk culture.

Goth• The allure for goths of dark, mysterious, and morbid imagery

and mood lies in the same tradition of Romanticism's gothic novel. During the late 18th and 19th century, feelings of horror, and supernatural dread were widespread motifs in popular literature; The process continues in the modern horror film. Another central element of the gothic is a deliberate sense of camp theatricality and self-dramatization; present both in gothic literature as well as in the gothic subculture itself.
