DeannaThe rst time I walked into the Port Moody Rec. Complex to teach I knew it was home. It’s been nearly 15 years and I still love it. There is something special about being able to work and teach in my own community. It makes me so happy watching people push themselves and work hard week after week, and if I can make them laugh (a lot) while doing it, I consider the class a success. I am a BCRPA certied group tness instructor, personal trainer, weight room trainer, yoga instructor and pre and post-natal instructor. I hope to see you at class owning and rocking what you got – we can all laugh together!

Volunteer ProleSogolI play ping pong and love watching cartoons. I have been a volunteer for just over one year to get involved and give back to my community. My favourite thing about volunteering with the City of Port Moody is the people I get to know in the Recreation Complex. The advice I would give to a new volunteer is to be open and enjoy the time when they are volunteering.
