BackgroundProject: Pump shed design ( portal frame)

Location: Newman Australia (modern mining town, with suburban-style homes )

Climate: has an arid climate, with very hot summers and mild winters.

INTRODUCTION

Material used: Steel (timber is not strong and no resources for concrete near

by)

Specification: Clearance width of 5.7m, overall length of 16.5m and height to the underside of the monorail beam of 4.0m
