Entrepreneurship Project
For the individual part of the project, the synopsis, I chose to approach a marketing subject, the marketing mix. The guid-ance teacher then instructed me to write about the 4 p’s, say-ing that they are enough. In order to complete the synopsis I learned a lot from the writtings of Kotler and Keller. The „Principles of Marketing” by Kotler provided the perfect base for understanding this subject, this was the book I mainly used for writting my assignment. At the oral presentation I en-countered one of main issues of this university, that the teach-ers don’t care when they give you advice. The same teacher from the guidance now told me that the 4 p’s aren’t enough and thus gave me the mark 7. It was my fault because I didn’t know that I needed the 7p’s instead of the 4p’s when develop-ing the marketing for a service based business, but also the guidance was poor and sent me on a wrong track. All in all, the project was very interesting to work on and I learned numerous things, from the ways in which you can make a marketing research to the ways in which you calculate establishing and operating budgets.
The Entrepreneurship Project was one of the most interest-ing projects I encountered so far at this university. I dream of opening my own business in the fashion industry so it was a great oppurtunity for me to learn how to develop a real busi-ness plan. The team with which I worked was great, at the beggining we had numerous ideas from which we could chose the best business idea. The business idea we used was mine, a gaming center. This is the reason for which my tasks included conducting the market research and also calculating the budg-ets. In order to conduct the market research I searched for key figures of the industry and made a survey which we conducted via e-mail. For calculating the establishment budget I searched on the internet for the prices of the necessary items for our retail space and stock. For the operating budget I searched for the revenues of the same business from other countries and with these helping me I forecasted the budget for the next 12 months. The feedback we received for our business plan was possitive, the market research and the budgets were considered as being plausible.

ConcepT DEVELOPMENT
My favorite class from the ones I attended in the second se-mester is Concept Development. During the Concept Devel-opment classes we learned theoretical and also practical aspects of graphic design. Our assignments consisted of creating im-ageboards, a logo, a poster and as a main assignment, creating a brandbook. In order to complete these assignments I lent from the library numerous books regarding graphic designs, from conceptual books to highly technical illustrator and photoshop books. The most challenging assignment was the brandbook. For this assignment I contributed with the business idea and the name and also created the logo and the product design. At the end we received good feedback for the work we put behind our as-signment. The negative aspects of these classes were that we didn't get enough feedback for our assignments and the slow pace. When we presented an assignment, the teacher didn't tell us where we did a good job and where we didn't get it quite right. Also, for students who have just started working with these programs, it is essential to know which are good models and which aren't. I know that ranking students generally can't have good implications, but for some it is highly motivating know-ing how is your work compared to the others.
In conclusion, the Concept Development classes gave me the proper base for developing myself as a graphic designer. During this classes I learned how to create a logo, a poster and also how to create a design for a basic product.I put the two logos I designed, the poster and the notebook in the portfolio because I consider that my development can be observed when looking at these works. I used the poster as the cover for this portfolio.

Branding
The second class on my list is Branding. This is the class for which I signed up for this programme, but because of some negative aspects it’s not on top of the list. The structure of the Branding classes was a productive one, combining theory with case studies, but it also had a negative part, the lack of flow. We observed the same case studies over and over again and the logical flow of the courses was poor. One of the strong points of this class was that we used teamwork on numerous occasions. We had several assignments which included making a brand audit, a summary of a branding success story and also as a major assignment we had to write a report based on a branding related topic. The topic I chose was re-branding and I carried it out with the help of Kapferer’s book, „New Strategic Brand Management”.I consider the knowledge that I gained in this field during the first 2 semesters as the perfect base for my future ca-reer and also the internship job that I will have during the 3rd semester.

My third choice is Marketing Management, a class that gave me a very good in-sight on different strategies that world renowned companies use. The teamwork we used in the class was highly productive due to the variety of perspectives you get to hear when working with different people. The Jagermesiter assignment was a very interesting one and I put a lot of effort into it. I tried to gain a greater understanding of the subject than my classmates thus searching for the core strategies of the company instead of presenting only the promotional campaigns. The literature for this course is vast and I try to cover it all, starting with fundamental writings from Kotler or Keller. After a semester of attending this course I consider my-self having a good understanding of the basic elements of this subject.

economics I economics II
I consider economics a very important aspect of every business and thus a good knowledge of it is mandatory if you plan of oppening a business and also if you're working in the marketing department. The microeconomics class was very benefic because now I have a broader understanding of how should a market re-search be carry out. Also the notions we learned about the trade policies are very important when conducting inter-national business. I also expanded my understanding of the stages of indus-tralization of a country and how this factor affects busi-ness.Microeconomics is a vast subject and I consider we didn't cover enough this semester due to small amount of classes.
This is my least prefered class due to the poor quality of the classes. Economics is not one of the popular sub-jects, but I am amongst the few that like dealing with numbers. The fact that we didn't advance through the subject and remained at the first class for the rest of the course was highly demotivating and also boring. The positive aspect of the course was that I learnt about the „Big Five” factors that influence a country's eco-nomical performance.I consider myself ready now to analyse a country's eco-nomical sittuation and also compare it to anothers.
