SKY HARBOR PHASE II RFPTERMINAL 4 MAIN FOOD COURT 3D STUDIO MAX, VRAY These renderings were created as part of a comprehensive design concept for Sky Harbor Airport in Phoenix, AZ. The space was designed by Ideation Design Group. And the renderings were developed from survey plans, sketches and material samples.

I stayed true to the existing sun light-sculpture in the heart of the Terminal 4 Atrium, as well as to the scalloped ceramic tile columns.

I chose this view to take advantage of how the composition leads your eye around the scene in a centrifugal way, and placed people in strategic locations as eye targets - such as the woman center-right walking away from the viewer, and the woman behind the banquette on the phone.

Some of the most enjoyable moments of working on this project were getting to design the

tree sculptures with integrated light canopies, creating a 3D pastiche of Dale Chihuly’s glass

sculptures, and discovering ways to infuse the warmth and energy of the designers’ vision while

maintaing a clear and accurate depiction of the space’s finishes and details.

It was also the first time I used a 32 bit full float workflow to create subtle color shifts and lighting

effects that helped produce a warm photographic look.

SKY HARBOR PHASE II RFPCHELSEA’S KITCHEN 3D STUDIO MAX, VRAY These renderings were created as part of a comprehensive design concept for Sky Harbor Airport in Phoenix, AZ. The space was designed by Ideation Design Group. These renderings were developed from CAD plans, sketches and material samples.

I created most of the hard surface models, textures and lighting for both views of this space. The exceptions are the liquor from Digital X Models and plants from Evermotion.

I paid particular attention to the post-production process in Photoshop, where I adjusted the tone, color and brightness levels, and added subtle light blooms in order to provide a more familiar photographic look.

This project involved custom modeling and texturing, virtual landscaping, perspective matching, lighting and shadow matching, color correction, and lens correction.
