Retreat? In this case is a religious or spiritual term for time taken to reflect or meditate.In a simple way of thinking, it’s a free of stress, suffering, disturbing,annoying or sadness. We want to eliminate these from our mind, our soul or our feeling by doing a religious or spiritual acting such as meditation.

Natural material such as bamboo was used in design and it’s a part of design concept that possibly integrate wellin to the surrounding atmosphere. It also helps the building itself to blend in the nature.
Transparent glass also was used as a partof design concept to make the spaceinvisible.

Case Study
The design of Apple flagship stores, express the meaning, the achievement and the goal of its products as well as its brand. Both exteriors and interiors are design as simple, clear and clean. Wood has been selected for the exhibition tables “natural feeling of wood gives warmth to space”. Glass is used to make space lighter and bigger. Walls are either white or covered with aluminium “ aluminium to give technological feeling”.
