2. CYCLE AND PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE ACROSS THE INNER HARBOUR OF COPENHAGEN

The bridge is celebrating the city. It offers new spectacular viewpoints, opens new perspectives of the

urban skyline. Being on the bridge means to see the sky, the horizon. One can feel the closeness to

water. Like on a boat the best viewpoint is on the prow.

3. POLYFUNCTIONAL INFRASTRUCTURE IN TOR VERGATA, ROME

The project aims to requalify the area of Tor Vergata, creating infrastructural connections, between the metropolitan area of Rome and the new project's site. The project upgrades the bordering neighborhoods, redefining the edge through the new design of the landscape and refunctionalizing the abandoned area.

4. CULTURAL CENTRE“LA SERENISSIMA”, ROME

The idea of the project is based on the concept of landscape as a strategy. Architecture and landscape become terms of a dialectical process in which the idea of the system prevails on the one of the object. The aim is to create a local centrality within the city of Rome, a point where to concentrate a series of features aimed to revitalize the surrounding suburbs.

5. REDEVELOPMENT OF “SANTA VITTORINA” CHURCH, UMBRIA

The main idea was to redevelop the old church function into the ruin of Santa Vittorina, taking into account of all its complex history and the environment.The architectural idea was to let the church into the state of ruin reinforcing the structure and adding the missing parts: the roof, the tower and the priest’s house. These features create a discord between a modern language and an old one preserving both of them into the history, avoiding an historical fake. The material chosen for the added parts is drilled corten steel which appears ideal to underline the architectural purpose without disturbing the natural environment.
