Seven (7) independent Provincial Associations and four (4) Regional Associations from the remaining two (2) of the nine (9) Provinces of the country, now constitute
the Council.
These eleven (11) organizations have ninety (90) independent Branches.

A curriculum development workshop will be held on 7 & 8 November 2006 in Bloemfontein. Main item on agenda is the development of standard units as this is the first such course in SA

Health & Deafness World Congress. Worcester. 26 - 30 October 2005.

NCPPDSA NCPPDSA and the NID (National Institute for the Deaf) in Worcester signed a MOU to further services to
persons with hearing loss later in life

1. Awareness and capacity building workshops on legislative rights
2. Specific awareness programs focused on reproductive rights for vulnerable and previously disadvantaged women.
3. Occupational / Vocational skills training programme
4. Sustainable economic and skills development Workshops
5. Life Skills education workshop on Human Rights
6. One gender sensitive workshop will include women and their partners.
7. Workshop to address the issue of communicating in relationships and how communicating can assist in stopping violence against women.
