Janine SlaatsHi,

My name is Janine Slaats, twenty years of age and living in Maarheeze, the Netherlands. I just graduate from SiNTLUCAS as an interior and exterior designer with an excellent statement. I am motivated, social and a real challenge seeker who’s not afraid to work hard.

During my education at SintLucas I managed to design interiors andfurniture as well as photographing and graphic designs. But InteriorDesign is my biggest passion. I create concept designs, 2D & 3Dvisualizations and models with much pleasure.

The most great experience in my career were in Bangkok at DWP in 2013. I worked there six months as an interior designer in a hospitality team with two other great colleagues. DWP gave me the opportunity to prove myself and give me my first step in my career.

The following pages show a brief selection of my work during my study and internships. I hope that my collection of past work, experience, and skills set are of relevance to your firm and can complement your practice.

My goal is to be a succesfull interior designer and work around the world with great other inspired people.

RAX The RAX storage system I designed during my internship at FEEK in Antwerp. This system is available in three different heights and widths so that you can use your space optimal. RAX is currently available at several stores in Eindhoven and Antwerp.

Stairi ChairI designed the Stairi Chair during my internship at FEEK in Antwerp. I got this assignment to develop myself and and to show how far I've come after my 5 month internship at FEEK. I call this chair the Stairi chair because I have not reached my peak yet, and I know this is going to succeed in the future. When I look at this chair, I know I can achieve my goal, it just takes some time.

VERBERKMOES ASSURANTIËNVerberkmoes is an insurance agency located in a 30s building. The interior is very old and worn, and the cliënt wanted a new interior with a business, confidental and modern look. This job was created with ten other students and the cliënt has chosen my design. The client will carry out this project early next year. STRUCTURE

MERCURE HOTEL MANILA, PHILIPPINES

The first two weeks of my internship in Bangkok at DWP I worked on the Mercure Hotel in Manila, Philippines. The two visualizations that you can see are the reception area and lobby lounge. Those two areas I designed together with a n other colleague. For this assignment I include also extensive use of FF & E skills.

ENERGIE COÖPERATIE BOXTELThis project I designed for an energy cooperative in boxtel. The assignment was to design a movable store concept with a durable concept. The budget of the cliënt was 2000 EUR what was a challenge. I chose to create easily movable islands. It is easy to connect and disconnect them and you always can choose your own shape.
