ExperienceI have over 20 years of experience in Graphic Design, Illustration, Interior Architecture, Concept Design and Project Visualization. In 1998 I joined the renowned design studio "3deluxe" in Germany as an illustrator and graphic designer. During the following 13 years I developed and deployed my creativity and expertise in the fields interior design, concept architecture, concept design, project visualization, product design, furniture design, illustration, graphic design and publishing.

In 2006 I was promoted to Art Director Managing active-ly designing in the fields Interior Architecture, Concept Architecture, Project Visualization & Product Design. I was entrusted with the art direction of some of the stu-dio's most representative projects, that where awarded and internationally recognized.

End of 2010 I moved out of Germany and took the step to a new independent life, moving to the United Arab Emirates, working as a design consultant and building up JQN design studio.

My years living and working in the Gulf region, visual-izing major projects, mainly in Islamic as well as tradi-tional Emirati Heritage architecture, gave me a profound knowledge of the local culture. Now I find myself in a place I love and enjoy, a place with an amazing regional legacy and a progressive momentum I deeply admire.

During my carrier I learned and applied a wide range of skills, from cutting edge graphic software up to classical drawing techniques. Therefore, besides of having a great flexibility in visualizing ideas and projects, I also have a profound comprehension of all the aspects of a design process.

My 6 years of experience as an Art Director at 3deluxe, have given me the capability to coordinate and manage very professional creative teams on cutting edge pro-jects. These teams consisting of designers, 3D artist and architects, and reaching from 2 to 10 members.

I would define myself as very professional, with a pro-found love for what I do and with a soft spot for quality, professionalism and a good working atmosphere. I like to learn and develop myself, as well as to teach and share my knowledge. I am a hands on designer with good delegation criteria, excellent leadership and team-work qualities. I enjoy getting involved and love working in a committed team. Forward looking and open to new ideas, I am very fond of new technologies and never get tired of learning and improving myself

ILLUSTRATION

To support a project presentation I create illus-trations and graphic elements that will give the project its "feeling", creating the right atmos -phere and environment to communicate an idea in a precise and effective manner. Besides illustrating themes and elements of the project I also integrate them into the presenta-tion layout in an appropriate way, often an illus-trative one. Creating compositions that often lead to artworks, that stand for its own and add an unexpected artistic and cultural aspect to the presentation. My printing setup (for high end printouts in high quality Fine Art paper) enables me to deliver printed artworks in an exceptional high quality level, perfectly suited for most demanding exhi-bitions.
