Research PlanningPlanning the research is most important aspect. It gives the clarity of the objective that is,it is all about people. Understanding the brief is the key to design.

Research ExecutionBoth Primary & Secondary researchare equally important.Primary research is interacting with peopleand going to places whereas secondary research is reasearch of market, competitors, trends etc.

Customer JourneyBased on the facts gathered by research, the journey of the customer for particularshopping behaviour can be mapped tohave exact picture of the scope of work.

Analysis & SynthesisAnalysing and sythesising the data withvarious frameworks is useful to the areasof design to be worked on.

Ideation & PrototypingIdeation by sketching or modeling can be donebased on the synthesis. So is prototyping equallyimportant to validate the ideas.

The classic circle of Innovation

MakeoverRedefining the styling and aesthetic appearance

of traditional pump.

Pump is a device used in many homes/buildingsto suck and distribute the water.

Redesigning the pump should be done in incrementalway as the customer is used to see conventional

pumps over the years.

Conventional pumps look like very techinical objects.

They are scary and aestheticallyunpleasant.

complete metal structuremakes assembly bulky.

The new design includes change in back cover, handle &fin cover.

Handle & fin cover made inplastic to reduce weight.

Cost reduction by some minorchanges in die casting.

Flash on GoExpand the portfolio of Bellissima by evolving /

inventing product solutions in skin care/body care category.

Epilation device by Bellissima is the latest addition totheir portfolio. Laser shots is comparitively new technologyhence more scope of improvement in

design &functionality.

The form factor has been testedso satisfy ergonomic consideration

Simple & easy to understandinterface design.

Continuous operation withoutwaiting for flash.

Introduction to automatic operation byfollowing sequence.* roller moves on body* flash is activated by roller movement* flash activates the cool air to distribute on body.Introduction of skin tone sensor.

AgileDesigning & Engineering of the access control

device.

The latest Access control device created by SukrutSystems is one of it’s own kind. It uses the technology

of recognizing the palm prints thereby providing thesolutions at high security areas like airports.

Sheet metal body, Polycarbonate faceand silicon finger grips.

Very sleek design (max height 65mm)

Internal components placed on spacers.

Concealed control panel.

GearsDesigning & Engineering of gears for power

transmission.

The gears are designed for small motion activities ineducational robotics to understand the use of gears.all the gears have interconnectivity so any gear can

mesh with the other.

3 different sizes of spur gears with same module.

Made in derlin.

Pitch calculations done according to the meccano.

All the gears mesh with each other perfectly.

Metal inserts provided to fit the gears on shaftfirmly.

Gears used in various learningactivities in robotics.

Mainly used in motion transferfrom the motors.

interconnectivity between allthe four gears gives control overdirections.

Basic

The retail experience of user is most important for anyproduct. The research shows that consumer needs all

the accessories in one place to use it frequently. This packaging works as a podium to keep all the

accessories together at one place.

A unique stand to keep appliances &accessories.A handle to carry the box.A peel-off ribbon to open the box.

An “out of box” experience bydiscovering contents of box by steps.

Angled opening of the box therebyproviding an unusual experience.

Enhance the user experience of small kitchenappliances.

Taste Italianity

This point of purchase stand is designed to give thecultural awareness of Italy for the consumers in

South America. It serves as a medium for people toget involved in Italian culture for whom it is not a

daily part of life.

The top graphic reflects the strongconnection with Italian culture.

Detachable shelves give possibilityto customize the arrangement ofstand.

Bottom used as storage.Back part shows wine cellararrangement which is Italian culture.

Duena

It is most common practics to hang the coats, jacketsor purses at the back rest of chair. It creates an

uncomfort for person. Duena chair solves this issue byintroducing another back to the chair as a shadow

of main back rest.

2 significant parts of chair for non intereferenceof hangar and back rest.

Ashwood as a main material of chair.

Can be used for various purposes.
