A Parisian Structure : restaurant-bar in the Tuileries GardenPARIS
Professor : J-P PRANLAS-DESCOURSPersonal Project - 1 semester studio 2013/2014
This project is an introduction into the tools of design of spatial forms. The form of the building was determined according to its rele-vant structural system. The inver-ted beam of Prouvé supports the roof and devides the internal space into segments. The site is the garden of the Tuileries, located in a really touristic area of Paris. I chose to build the restaurant at the edge of la place de la Concorde to give its users a magnificeant panoramic view. It therefore offers a big terrace surrainded by the current trees.
I closely attached the technique, the aestheticism and the poetics of the architectural and urban landscape. I learnt to represent and to ana-lyze constructive models of simple constructions. It is one of the first projects thatI was able to have a reflection on its materials, structu-ral implementation and assemblage.

Beetween the Parc and the Canal de la Villette: a block of social housing PARIS
Professor : Frederic SCHLACHETPersonal Project - 1 semester studio 2012/2013
This project deals with the concept of two types of buildings: indi-vidual houses, and social apart-ments. The ideas were first ini-tiated by groups, on divided land plots followed by individual de-signs on a chosen portion of the site. The building respects the codes of the French social housing and worked mainly in plan, is also a reflection on the practices of different living cultures coupled with social, economic, cultural and interdisciplinary researches.
The site is near a Canal, in front of the Parc de La Villette, and sits on a rectangular plot of land. The global project consists of a five-floor residential building and, a common shared courtyard, and in both detached city houses.

A new House for young people of JuvisyJUVISY-SUR-ORGE
Professors : Catherine CLARISSE & Nicole CONCORDETPersonal Project - 1 semester studio 2015/2016
Can architecture be a fac-tor of social integration? This project was about transforming the existing building of the city plateau practical and flexible one, giving it a specificity through in-corporating these changes, openness and links with the dynamic site programs : private and public. This MJC welcomes therefore adaptable spaces, a joint program. The project also extends to the design of pu-blic space and educational contri-butions to the primary school.
Taking the figure of the house with its sloping roof, human di-mensions and response to ecologi-cal and economic isolation, inspi-red my treatment of materials. The new MJC is welcoming, and is made of wood and uses the approch ma-king of innovative hemp concrete.

A new campus of the Grand Paris Project for Sacaly citySACLAY/ORSAY-VILLE
Professors : Arnaud BICAL & Sabine CHARDONNETCo-worker : Aziz BEN MOUSSA - 1 semester studio 2013/2014
To improve an exchange between the plateau of Saclay and the valley of Yvette, we designed a flexible transportation which would bring together the city of Orsay in the subway planned by the project of le Grand Paris plateau. It is a small semi-electric machines freely empruntantes named le chenillard.
The presented project improves and develops one of the stations close to the students housing and the universities area. It is in the convergence of two main structuring axes of the site, in front of the orchard. The project consists of a microcomputing centralized com-mon gathering area , an animation and services, poste for the stu-dents. It is necessary to conside-rer the project as a connector. The purpose is to create spaces which can be evolutionary and flexible.

A city of the Grand Paris Project: Champigny-sur-MarneCHAMPIGNY-SUR-MARNE
Professors : Thierry ROZE & François L’HENAFFCo-worker : Armelle MARTIN-RICHON - 1 semester studio 2014/2015
This project is a town planning exercice. It is situated in Champi-gny-sur-Marne, a city in the east of Paris which will welcome two new stations of the Grand Paris project. The first phase was an analysis of the site, its topography, flows, atmos-phere and morphologies. The project becomes established on the northern portion of the city, between the RER station and the river of the Marne.
We designed and constructed re-liants courses between infrastruc-tures to try to erase the exis-ting fragmentations of the city. Within this project a park was found and developed. In the middle of this park there is an important traffic circle of the city on which we chose to create a public plaza and two public buildings (a theater and a showroom) both connected with the park by pedestrian bridges.

The association ARCHITEMP’ was created through the initiative of a group of architecture students at the ENSA Paris - Malaquais.
ARCHITEMP‘ works on temporary fa-cilities: 1:1 scale experiments, questioning the notion of space through theoretical knowledge.
We respond to competitions that we hold dear and on which we want to work on as a team of friends. Hence we prefer project calls in which we have the means to participate. This allows us to reach the materia-lity of architecture , working with various trades , and to experiment, and explore new environments in a fes-tive and less academic atmosphere.
Our flagship project was a totem-ash-tray that was commissioned by the We Love Green Festival. One of these totems is currently installed in the garden of the caffé A’ situated in la maison de l’architecture in Paris.

Book fair of la Masion de l’Architecture d’Ile-de-France : 2015
The collectif Architemp’ did a mana-gement structure for the Architectu-ral Book Fair organized by la Maison de l’Architecture en Ile-de-France.The concept of this 3 days fair was, a bookseller for Le Cabanon, representing a wide ranges of ar-chitectural specialty publishers. In addition to selling books and newspapers whether specialized, ge-neral or popular public the exhi-bition displayed new publishers , authors and children’s workshops .
This structure was used as a si-gnage sign, based for flyers and lo-gos, a selfie background photo both and a reading corner for children.Thought , designed , built and installed by the collective, it marked the entrance of the Fair.

Workshop in Bordeaux Vini/Vindi/VinciDirector : Emmanuel Gallina (designer) group project - 1 week during 2013
Research / Essay on the new construction of Brodeaux’s ChateauxProfessor : Caroline MANIAQUE personal project - 1 semester 2013/2014 19
Because of my relationship with the Bordeaux region in France, I wanted to try to draw links that bind its wine, culture and ac-tivities through architecture.I had the opportunity to do a workshop in Bordeaux to deepen my knowledge of this culture, visit its actors and work with landscape designers who were interested in this topic.
Our proposal took part in an ex-hibition at l’Arc en Reve, a cultural center in Bordeaux.
When I returned to Paris, I tried to theorize this link through the stu-dy of new construction of wineries that are increasingly renovated by star architects. For this study I was able to interview project direc-tors of the new wineries and Store-houses and few managers of castles.

The material library is a stu-dent initiative, promoted by dif-ferent year students from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Ar-chitecture de Paris Malaquais.
It helps educate students on mate-rials of all kinds, enhance stu-dent’s research as well as the physical tools and intellectuals manipulated by school students.
It is a communication approach, a be-ginning of the integration of materials in student projects of all levels.
This initiative provides two broad-cast elements : a website where one could find a range of information on materials available at Malaquais and this furniture that allows to have a sensitive approach towards them.

Research : Architects and Luxury Industries
Professors : Soline NIVET & Jean-Louis VIOLEAUCurrent personal Project - 3 semester : 2015 - 2017
During my master studies, I chose to conduct a research on the archi-tectural professions. This is still being investigated, but here are some questions that I am attemp-ting to answer through my Thesis. How is architecture used for ad-vertising ? Wich commercials use more architecture? Nowadays it seems to me that it is rul by luxu-ry business. Often associated with luxury, do architects still have thier positions in this industry? I am trying to observe how archi-tects are placed in their rela-tionship with luxury brands. What stories do they make? What posi-tion do they claim and mediate?
I am currently studying the luxu-ry notion within the most famous luxury groups. I am also exami-ning the notion of story telling through the perspective of marke-ting, the question of the author in art, branding and I try to analyze some of the architects’ characters.

La Maison de l’Architecture en Île-de-France is a cultural center, it is a place to debate about making the city, a place for promoting fun architecture, a place for sharing ideas between masters contracters and project supervisors, it is a crossroads between architecture and other fields (and off screen) arts, a place for training in the city within the urban and architectural culture.Created in 2004 by the CROAIF (Re-gional Council of the Order of Ar-chitects of Île-de-France), with the opening of Chaillot (State) and the activities of the Arsenal (City of Paris), the House of Architec-ture in Île-de-France is clearly focused on the Île-de-France area.To meet its architectural promo-tional missions and expertise of architects to all audiences, la Maison de l’Architecture en Île-de-France organizes throughout the year conferences, exhibitions and an architecture festival.
