Use of wuzhen grand theater built in May 2013, was the first wuzheninternational festival of the main stadium, the main body constructionarea of 21384 square meters, looking like a blooming in the lakecncondom, wall brick and ancient Beijing old ship wood Windowsfacing the ice crack, internal consists of large, medium two theatre,can accommodate 1500 audience.

Wuzhen lies at the north of Tongxiang Town of Zhejiang Province, China. The town is divided into four zones by cross-shaped river. Due to its warm and humid climate, and abundant rainfalls and sunshine, the products here are rich, making Wuzhen well-know as "the town of fish, rice, and silk".

Over more than 1,000 years, the traditional buildings are still well preserved after crossing so many rough years. It is just like a natural museum of ancient architecture.

In the town, watercourses and flagstone streets extend in all directions and intercross here and there. The native residents live peacefully in their old houses by water, just like their ancestor do before a long time.

In this romantic and surreal water village in China, the owner of the development decided that Wuzhen would be an important name in the global atlas ofaz theater where an international theater festival would be located.d

The greatest challenge was to design a large building containing two theaters with 1200 and 600 seats back to back, with modern theater functions in this small, traditional water village in southern China. Using the culturally auspicious “twin lotus” as its metaphor, which functions perfectly with two theatres sharing one stage area, the design is composed of two oval shapes interlocking one another, one of them transparent and the opaque in form.

Assisted lead architect in the development of the overall design concept, evaluation of spatial design between different nodes and detailed design plans for the building facade.

This development is the first in the expansion into mainland China by the largest retail bookstore chain from Taiwan as featured in mainstream media like Forbes and CNN.

"Eslite bookstore" is located in the reputation of "diamonds in the crown of" along the eastern coast of jinji lake park, located in the koto CBD core area, the north light rail line 1 h chi street station, south near jinji lake area of 7.4 square kilometers, surrounded by science and technology culture and art center, times square, long light department, exhibition center, intercontinental hotels and other form a complete set of mature commercial carrier. Project covers an area of 2.69 hectares, planning a total construction area of 13.57 square meters.

In nearly fifty thousand square meters of space, not only have a mall, eslite bookstore, gourmet restaurants and cafes, also built a gallery, multifunctional audio-visual performance, experimental theater, art space, such as the future eslite bookstore will introduce various cultural activities, holding lecture hall and drama performances.
