I tell people that this image sums up my first year of college because I kept loosing keys to my room’s lock and coming late to the room, after hanging out with friends all day, just to realize that I was alone when trying to hit the lock hard enough to break it open, at the same time, trying not to wake up everyone in the hostel.

MAP IITG PROJECT
So, I started this project for making a map of IIT G, where,the residents of the campus will keep updat-ing the map.
People can make the drawing of the place they are most attached with. And then we’ll add that place to the map if it’s already not there.
for starting this, I began with a blank line map of IIT-G, which I have shown on the adjecent page. The image under it is the sketches of the library that I was trying to do.
I left it on the people of the campus to do it be-cause, a thing like thing can’t be made by a person alone. Mainly because the campus belongs to a lot of people.v
The project hasn’t succeded yet, i.e. very few people have submitted thier drawings. Although it is not completed yet, I will be reigniting it.

I was assigned a commision to make a forest.I had made trees and plants before, but never a complete forest. So, after trying some random trees in the city. I eventually went to the Turahalli Forest, located near the city.On the left side are some sketches from the forest, trying to capture the essense of the Eucleptus trees.

Cendrol construction BrochureGraphic design project
Brochure for Cendrol Construction
This Graphic design project is about mak-ing a brochure for Cendrol construction.
Design language, typography and every-thing else except the text for each spread, is designed.
For the design process, principles from the book “Grid design in graphic design” are used for deciding on the margins and the main grid.
A 4x10 grid is used with the gutter size of 1pt and margins of 1 pt and 2 pt.This system is applied everywhere except the cover page the last page.
The font used for the most part is IBM Plex. This font is used as it shares some elements from the fonts used in American sports. At the same time it also has char-acterstics of display fonts because of the flat sides(as this is the first construction company in bangalore area to introduce an application for tracking the construc-tion process.) Thus justifying the sporty and the techinically equiped nature of the company.
Other than that the some custom icons and illustrations are also prepared for the same for matching the other elements as well as to convey the ideas better.
