Construction

The suspended and surface system utilises the same profile and is available in standard lengths up to 2824mm with bespoke lengths available to order. Surface mounting is achieved by directly fixing through the rear of the profile. Suspension is made simple using a single-point ceiling bracket with 2m adjustable stainless steel wire system. Uplighting is available on lengths from 584mm upwards.

Our Canta luminaire has been designed as a stylish option for surface or suspended applications and is ideal where appearance is important. The body is powder-coated aluminium and gives good heat dissipation. The faceted reflector has a good reflective rate.

Construction

The Oreo is designed to be suspended in horizontal or vertical format to a central surface or flush ceiling rose. Available in five different sizes and a wide variety of colours. It is an ideal option when lighting an open space or simply wanting to create a stunning feature. The versatility of the aluminium body and LED technology used allows for the inclusion of many control options including dimming and wireless switching options.

Our Lumaled luminaire has been designed as a direct replacement for 210mm PL downlights. The panel surround is manufactured using white powder-coated aluminium material. The high-performance heat sink is manufactured using die-cast aluminium, connection from the luminaire to the driver is a simple process utilising simple plug and play connectors.

The LED light source is powered by EPISTAR LED chips and the diffuser is manufactured using high impact resistant acrylic PMMA material.

Our rolled steel enclosure houses the complete down light for solid ceiling applications where surface mounting or suspending is required.

Construction

Our MEA luminaire has been designed as an ideal replacement solution where there is a requirement to upgrade less energy efficient T8/T5 fluorescent luminaires to a more modern energy efficient and aesthetically pleasing unit. The luminaire is constructed using 0.5mm sheet steel white powder-coated sheet steel. The diffuser section is manufactured as a single extruded acrylic curve which spreads the light onto the ceiling whilst providing a high level of downwards light. The fitting is constructed using quality European branded LED boards and drivers.

Our LEP32LG LED panel has been designed as a direct replacement for a 600 x 600 recessed modular luminaire and will fit within any standard suspended ceiling grid which has an aperture of 595mm x 595mm. The frame of the luminaire is manufactured using an aluminium profile which is finished using white powder coating designed to blend well with the ceiling grid.

The LED light source is powered by SMD2835 LED chips. The panel diffuser is manufactured using PS material which is a hard highly transparent material which is UV stable, offers good chemical resistance, is simple to clean and scratchproof.

Construction

The Eco-Line is designed to be surface mounted and with its simple design and construction gives superior capability. This highly efficient luminaire is not only energy saving, it is easy to fit by simply unclipping the diffuser and gear tray. The main channel of batten allows easy cable entry via the BESA entries. The polycarbonate diffuser achieves anti-glare but high light transmittance. As standard, the luminaire utilises recognised branded LED boards and drivers.

Construction

Our Endura IP65 LED corrosion resistant luminaire has been designed as an all-round weatherproof luminaire ideally suited to industrial applications. The luminaire base and opal diffuser are manufactured using high-grade impact resistant polycarbonate material. We have designed our luminaire with an easy fix system which enables the luminaire to be either directly surface mounted using the stainless steel brackets or suspended using the hook set provided, this system ensures the IP65 rating of the luminaire is maintained at all times. Stainless steel clips are supplied as standard.

As standard, the luminaire utilises branded electronic control gear mounted on white powder-coated metal gear tray.

T-LINE MULTI TRACK SYSTEM

Construction

Our T-Line range uses an opal tubular polycarbonate diffuser with a hidden aluminium spine to suspend the luminaire. Control gear is mounted in a white surface control box with rear and side conduit entries. The plastic end caps are white as standard but can be finished in colours of your choice.

Construction

Our Epic range of LED downlights has been designed as an IP65 LED downlight suitable for multiple applications where a high-output, recessed downlighter is required. It is suitable for installation directly into either suspended or plasterboard ceilings.

The luminaire housing is manufactured using die-cast aluminium and finished with a white powder-coated bezel. The faceted reflector is manufactured using highly polished aluminium material and the sealed diffuser is manufactured using PMMA material.

Our Circ range of LED downlights has been designed as an ideal replacement for compact fluorescent downlights and is sized to suit the more common cutout sizes. The panel surround and heat sink is manufactured using white powder-coated die-cast aluminium material.

The diffuser is manufactured using high-impact resistant acrylic PMMA material. The Circ is supplied complete with a simple plug and play connector for the low voltage connections to aid a speedy installation. As standard, the unit is supplied in 4000K.

Our LEP32LG LED panel has been designed as a direct replacement for a 600 x 600 recessed modular luminaire and will fit within any standard suspended ceiling grid which has an aperture of 595mm x 595mm. The frame of the luminaire is manufactured using an aluminium profile which is finished using white powder coating designed to blend well with the ceiling grid.

The LED light source is powered by SMD2835 LED chips. The panel diffuser is manufactured using PS material which is a hard highly transparent material which is UV stable, offers good chemical resistance, is simple to clean and scratchproof.

Construction

Our Horizon luminaire has been designed for applications where a halo effect is required or surface wiring will be utilised. The luminaire body is injection moulded using high-impact resistant polycarbonate material to produce a single universal base. Surface cabling to the luminaire is easily achieved by making use of the 20mm side cable entries in the base or via the rear BESA box cable entry point.

The diffuser is vacuum formed using polycarbonate material and is supplied as standard in Opal microprismatic. The base is supplied as standard in White and can be supplied in Blue, Green or Red to create a coloured halo effect. As standard, the luminaire utilises branded electronic control gear from major manufacturers.

Our Compass luminaire has been specifically designed for use in vulnerable areas where safety and anti-ligature lighting is required. The luminaire body is manufactured using 1.2mm steel. The diffuser is manufactured using impact resistant polycarbonate.

For installation and maintenance, there is a face entry access to ensure paint/anti-pick mastic is not disturbed after installation.

As standard, the luminaire utilises branded electronic control gear which is mounted on a white powder-coated metal gear tray.

Our Opalite luminaire has been designed as a universal option and is ideally suited to projects involving Stairwell Refurbishments, Care Homes, Social Housing and Corridor applications, in fact anywhere a decorative internal bulkhead is required. The base is constructed using mild steel and is supplied in either a powder-coated white or black finish or in a plated finish for the brass and chrome options.

The diffuser is vacuum formed using polycarbonate material and is supplied in Opal. As standard, the luminaire utilises branded electronic control gear from major manufacturers.

Our Orion bulkhead has been designed with one fits all in mind. Its appearance fits with any interior application with the variety of trims yet it can be used externally too due to being IP65 and also IK10. The housing is made from polycarbonate and uses a high-transmission diffuser whilst hiding any LED spotting. The base provides the installer with two 20mm cable entry points and a rear BESA mounting point.

As standard, the luminaire utilises control gear from major manufacturers.

Our LED gear tray has been designed to fully replace existing control gear within either round or square bulkhead luminaires when making the change from fluorescent technology to LED. Using this option removes the costly exercise of replacing the whole luminaire and the associated rewiring works. The gear tray is manufactured using white powder-coated sheet steel. As standard, our tray utilises branded electronic components and LED technology.

One of the advantages of using our retro-fit gear trays as your light source is the assurance that all of the components are new within the fitting rather than simply replacing the lamp.

MICRODETECT

Microwave detection is a newer and more advanced occupancy sensor than the PIR. It works by emitting high-frequency electromagnetic waves and then receiving their echo.

The sensor detects the change in echo from the slightest movement in the detection zone which commands a microprocessor to switch the light on. Some benefits of using microwave sensors over PIR are:

EMERGENCY LIGHTING TYPES EXPLAINED

Different types of emergency lighting are often confused. On this page, we explain the different types available and how they are operated.

MAINTAINEDThe luminaire works in exactly the same way as a standard mains version, except when the power fails, it switches to battery-powered emergency output.

NON-MAINTAINEDThe luminaire only comes on in the event of a power failure as an emergency light source. The continual mains supply is only used to charge the battery.

DALI EMERGENCYWe can also offer the option of DALI-Emergency controlled luminaires, utilising Tridonic or Mackwell DALI Emergency gear. This system allows greater control and detailed monitoring and reporting of emergency lighting. We can include this technology in our range of lighting or as a conversion service to other luminaires.

CENTRAL BATTERYThis is where the battery power for emergency lighting is situated at one, central point and fed to all relevant luminaires in the event of a power failure, whether they are maintained or non-maintained. All emergency luminaires will have a charge healthy LED indicator, which shows that the battery is being charged while there is a mains feed. When the power fails, the LED will switch off and the lamp will be illuminated by the battery.

SUSTAINEDThis is where a lamp separate to the main lamp provides the emergency light source. The purpose here is to minimise any possibility of emergency lamp failure, as the ‘sustained’ lamp is only used in emergency mode. This will only be relevant on a maintained emergency luminaire.

Did you know that most Mount Lighting LED luminaires can incorporate an emergency back-up so that, in the case of a power failure, adequate light is emitted to allow occupants a safe exit?

Our Converta SL LED emergency pack is designed to be installed by breaking into the low-voltage connection between the mains LED Driver and the LEDs. Construction

Our MNT/240/40 is a 3 hour emergency lighting conversion pack which has been designed specifically to suit a multitude of mains voltage lamps with a maximum load of 40W.

The inverter module and batteries are housed within a sheet steel enclosure with a hinged lid to aid access to the wiring connection points and fused terminal. Using the keyhole slots, the pack can be fixed directly to a solid surface to ensure a neat installation is achieved.

The MNT/240/40 is supplied as a remote conversion kit for mounting away from the fitting. It is suitable for 230V DC loads.

Construction

Our MNTLV emergency pack is designed to provide full output in emergency mode and, where required, normal mains lighting via an integral or remote low voltage transformer. The electric transformer, inverter module, 1mm green charge healthy indicator and batteries are housed within a sheet steel enclosure with a hinged lid to aid access to the wiring connection points and fused terminals. Using the keyhole slots, the pack can be fixed directly to solid surfaces to ensure a neat installation is achieved.

The pack is for the use of 24V lamps supplied at 100% power output. Supplied as Non-Maintained as standard but can be used in conjunction with the existing mains transformer to form a maintained circuit.

Same-Day Delivery

For those urgent orders we can offer a same-day delivery or collection service in the local area. This service is normally chargeable, please enquire. Our cut off time for this service is 2PM.

Next-Day Delivery

We offer a free next-day delivery service on orders above £150.00 for products which we keep in stock or do not require build up, please enquire when placing your order about the lead time of the product. Orders under £150.00 are subject to a small carriage charge of £10.00. Oversized pallets or orders required urgently may incur additional charges, please enquire. For conversion or refurbishment orders where the luminaires may not be well packaged, we recommend that the luminaires are delivered and collected via your own transport to ensure that the goods remain in good condition.

Interpretationa) In these Conditions ‘the Company’ means Mount Lighting

Ltd or any subsidiary company or agent authorised by them and means the person or persons firm or company purchasing from or doing business with the Company.

b) ‘the Goods’ means all products supplied by the Company to the Purchaser whether by means of sale, hire, rental or otherwise and whether the property of the Company or distributed by the Company as agents for another.

Generala) These conditions of Sale should be read in conjunction with

any Special Conditions included in the Company’s quotations.

b) The Company reserves the right to accept or refuse any order given on the basis of its quotations and in the event of the refusal of any order, no damages or expenses of any kind shall be payable by the Company.

c) Quotations and offers are given and contracts of sale are only accepted subject to these conditions. Any variation thereof by the Purchaser will be treated as inapplicable and of no effect, unless specifically agreed in writing by the Company.

d) Any complaint about the goods supplied, damage in transit or short delivery shall only be entertained by the Company if made within 3 days of date of delivery to the Purchaser.

Pricesa) Printed price lists are subject to alteration without notice by

the Company.

b) Orders are accepted at net selling prices ruling on the date of delivery by the Company.

Paymenta) Payment of all goods shall be ‘Cash on delivery’ until account

facilities have been granted by the Company to the Purchaser whereby all monies owing in the current month by the Purchaser to the Company must be received by the Company before the last day of the following month.

b) If payment is delayed beyond the agreed terms the Company reserves the right to charge a surcharge of £3.50 per week or part thereof and interest of 0.8% per week on the outstanding balance.

Propertya) The Company and the Purchaser expressly agree that until

the Company has been paid in full for all goods, such goods shall remain the property of the Company but being at the risk of the Purchaser as from the date of delivery and the Purchaser shall hold them as bailee. If the Purchaser sells the goods before payment in full has been made and if the Company requires he shall hand over to the Company all claims for payment against the sub-purchaser. So long as the property in the goods remains in the Company, the Company shall have the right, without prejudice, to the obligation of the Purchaser, to purchase the goods, to take re-possession of the goods and for that purpose to go upon any premises occupied by the Purchaser. The Company may maintain an action for the price of the goods notwithstanding that property in the goods may not have passed to the Purchaser.

b) Goods paid for but not collected will become the property of the Company after three months and the Company may dispose of goods as seem fit.

No Cancellationa) There can be no cancellation or return of goods by the

Purchaser without the Company’s written consent.

b) Non-stock items or goods ordered by the Purchaser which involve the Company ordering in items or goods specially or manufacturing items especially for the Purchaser cannot be cancelled by the Purchaser once work is in progress or goods bought in by the Company. The Purchaser must accept and pay for goods (if tendered for delivery) on the contractual date.

Returnsa) Purchasers wishing to return goods for whatever reason

must first negotiate terms with the Company. Dependant on the goods and the basis of return, handling charge may apply. All returns notes must include the Company’s invoice reference or Purchaser’s original order reference to ensure no delay occurs.

b) The Company will not replace goods claimed to be defective until it is confirmed the fault is not the result of improper use or installation and in any event the decision of the Company about any alleged defect shall be final and conclusive.

Minimum Order The minimum invoice value is £25 net excluding VAT.Deliverya) Delivery is free on orders over £150 or above net invoice value

excluding VAT within mainland Britain. For other areas carriage will be charged at cost.

b) Any times quoted by the Company for despatch or delivery are estimates only and the Company shall not be held liable for any loss, consequential loss or chargeable waiting time of any description by any delay in delivery howsoever caused whether directly or indirectly.

Loss or damage in transita) Any shortage or damage must be clearly stated upon the

driver’s Delivery Sheet and a written statement of the facts received at our branch and by the Carrier (if not ourselves) within 2 days of the date of delivery, otherwise no claim will be entertained. The package and contents should be retained for examination.

b) Written notice of any non-delivery must be received at our branch within 7 days after the date of the invoice. Time is of the essence of this clause. Our liability in respect of any claim accepted under this Clause is limited to making up the shortage or replacing any goods proved to have been damaged or lost in transit to the point of delivery, and we accept no liability for any loss or damage suffered by you, whether direct or consequential and howsoever arising.

Indemnitya) The Company shall not be responsible for any consequential

loss of any description incurred by the Purchaser as a result of any failure or fault in the Goods or for any damages or personal injuries or other losses, howsoever caused directly or indirectly by the Goods.

b) The Company shall pass onto the Purchaser the benefit of any Guarantees or Warranties provided by the manufacturers of the Goods and any rights vested in the Company under such Guarantees or Warranties are hereby assigned to the Purchaser but without prejudice to the previous sub-clause.
