The Size Of A Dinner Plate-

• 2 Inches Bigger On Average • Our dinner plates have gotten bigger over the years,

as have our restaurant portions in most cases. The average dinner plate of your grandmothers time was quite a bit smaller in diameter. The dinner plate of the 1960's is 30 % smaller. We have increased our portion size to fit these bigger plates without even being aware.
