Day 3 Lisbon region - Evora - Estremoz - EvoraAfter breakfast departure towards Evora.A panoramic tour will let you see the Temple of Diana, the Cathedral (exterior) Place Giraldo and the Bones Chapel.Lunch “ Carne de Porco à Alentejana” (meat with clams) and drive to the white and noble Estremoz City.Visit an Alentejo wine cellar. Here you have the opportunity to taste not only the wine, but also the olive oil. An essential ingredient in the Portu-guese cuisine. Tour and tasting included. Evora - Beja - AlbufeiraAfter breakfast, drive to Beja the capital of Lower Alentejo, panoramic city tour and visit the museum Rainha D.Leonor located in the former convent of the Conception. The walls of the chapter house are decorated with Hispano-Moorish tiles from the 16C.Lunch in town, then drive to Albufeira in the Algarve, where the streets of the historic center, still retain the picturesque white houses, narrow and steep streets and the charm of a Moorish arch to the Travessa Velha Church.Arrival at the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 6Albufeira - Olhão - Tavira - Faro - AlbufeiraAfter breakfast, drive to Olhão to discover the Fish Market with its colors, scents and atmosphere.Continue to Tavira, one of the most beautiful towns in the Algarve and the most authentic. Visit the old neighborhood: the Misericordia church, the ruins of the Moorish castle, the Roman Bridge.Cross, by boat the Ria Formosa, to join the Island of Tavira for a lunch of grilled fish.Return towards the capital of the Algarve-Faro.Discover the old town, quiet neighborhood, away from the circle of hous-es arranged in walls.Return to hotel for dinner and accommodation.

Day 2 PortoBreakfast at the hotel.We will dedicate our day to visiting Porto «Invicta» famous for its wine. We will start with the typical street of “Santa Catarina”. We will make a stop at “Majestic Café” to enjoy a coffee the locals name “ Cimbalino”. We will then continue our tour with a visit to Lello & Irmão’s Library con-sidered to be the third most beautiful bookshop in the world. Panoramic tour over Avenida dos Aliados. You will see Clérigos Tower (entrance fee not included), and the central station: “Gare de São Bento”, known by its 20.000 “azulejos” (porcelain tiles) created by Jorge Colaço.By the end of the morning we will cross the river towards Vila Nova de Gaia’s bank where one can find several wine Lodges. Visit of a Porto wine lodge ending with a taste of this famous wine. Visit the Dukes of Bragança’s Palace built in the XV century in a bourguignon style and considered at the time one of the most beautiful residences of the Iberic Peninsula.We will then drive you till Paço de Ferreira for a lunch off beaten paths.Appreciate the good portuguese cuisine.In the afternoon we will leave to Penafiel to visit «Quinta da Aveleda», www.aveleda.pt, one of the most well-known producers of “green” wine in Portugal. Day 4 Porto - Aveiro - Mealhada - Anadia - PortoAfter breakfast we will drive till Aveiro, known for its colored boats called “ moliceiros”, but also for its local egg based dessert: “Ovos moles” that you will taste during a small workshop. We will then drive till Mealhada’s region. This is the place where the traditional cuisine lovers come to taste the famous roasted suckling pig. Lunch in a local restaurant to taste local food.In the afternoon we will visit a Bairrada’s wine lodge.Return to Porto for dinner and overnight.

Day 5 Porto - Régua - Pinhão - Lamego - PortoBreakfast at the hotel. Discover the wonderful Douro Valley a Unesco World Heritage.We will drive across the Douro till Peso da Régua. Here we invite you for a 2h30 cruise along the most beautiful landscapes of the Douro Valley. For lunch we invite you to a restaurant of a well-known Portuguese chef.You will have your taste bud tremble with its flavors while enjoying a magnificent view over the Douro. In the afternoon we will stop at Lamego for a visit to Quinta da Pacheca wine state one of the fewest that still belongs to the same family over the years.Visit the wine lodge and taste its wine. Porto - Gerês - PortoBreakfast at the hotel. Porto - Barcelos - Ponte de Lima - Viana do Castelo - PortoBreakfast at the hotel. Today we will visit the Portuguese handcraft capital: Barcelos. Visit a local artisan of Cock of Barcelos and the local market (Thursdays).We will then drive you to Minho where we will stop at Ponte de Lima the oldest village of Portugal and an important wine production region. Enjoy a local dish of the famous Minho Gastronomy. In the afternoon we will visit Viana do Castelo. Go up to Monte de Santa Luzia and admire the beautiful view. Return to Porto for dinner and overnight.

Here we invite you to taste a cherry liquour. Continue to Nazaré the most typical and colourful of the Portuguese fish-ing villages. Lunch (fish). Reach “Sitio” by funicular to have a wonderful view over the town and the beach.Departure to Alcobaça to visit the cistercien abbey of the Monastery San-ta Maria dating from the Middle Ages and standing in the heart of this small town. Day 4 Figueira da Foz or surroundings - Coimbra - Porto - Porto surroundignsAfter breakfast departure to Coimbra, a charming university town immor-talised by many poets. Visit Portugal’s oldest university.Departure to Porto «Invicta», the second largest Portuguese town.Lunch in a local restaurant, in the most typical quarter of Porto- Ribeira. After lunch we invite you for a 6 bridge cruise on the Douro river. Day 5

Porto surroundings - Braga - Ponte de Lima Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Braga, an important centre of the Roman Catholic Church. Visit the Bom Jesus sanctuary and its stairway, one of Portugal’s most famous monuments. The tour continues around Minho region known for its green landscaped, traditions and embroidery. Arrival at Ponte de Lima. At the centre of a rich farming region, where the famous vinho verde (green wine) is produced.Lunch at Ponte de Lima. The group will be then divised and accommo-dated in beautiful country homes that have preserved their patrimony rich in history and culture. An unique occasion to be close to the centenary hospitality of those families that still live there.For dinner we will get together for a special popular evening that will end the typical Portuguese night.

Day 6

Ponte de Lima - Régua - Belmonte - Sortelha - FundãoBreakfast at the hotel.Today we will discover the Douro Valley. We will stop at Quinta da Pacheca to visit this wine estate and taste their wine. Lunch.In the afternoon we continue to Belmonte. It’s the land of the great navi-gator Pedro Alvares Cabral who discovered Brazil in 1500.Continue to Sortelha a picturesque old village with granite houses.Arrival at the hotel in Fundão for dinner and overnight.

Day 7 Fundão - Idanha-A-Velha - Évora - LisbonBreakfast at the hotel.Departure to the historic village of Idanha-a-Velha an ancient prosperous roman settlement. The visitor will feel like being in an open-air museum. Continue to Évora (Unesco World Heritage Site). Arrival in LisbonArrival at Lisbon airport early in the morning where you will be welcomed by our guide. Transfer to the hotel. Check-in for dinner and overnight.

Day 2

Lisboa - ÉvoraAfter breakfast, departure to Alentejo region. Portugal is the world’s largest producer of corks, responsible for more than 60% of the global export volume with a surface occupied by the cork-oak representing 25% of the surface in the world.On arrival, we will visit a cork factory.Then, we will continue with the visit of a wine cellar of this region. The visit will end with a wine tasting served as welcome drink. Departure towards ÉVORA, a UNESCO World Heritage site.ÉVORA is a museum of Portuguese architecture. Lunch in a restaurant to taste a regional menu (pork meat of Alentejo).In the afternoon, we will visit the St. Francis church with its chapel of bones (built by Franciscan brother to encourage his confreres to med-itate).You will find the bones and the skulls of 5000 people.Then, we will visit the romano – gothique cathedral and the ruins of the roman temple called “Diana’s Temple”. Évora - Monsaraz - São Pedro do Corval - Reguengos de Monsaraz - EvoraAfter breakfast, departure to MONSARAZ.This fortified village occupies a strategic position on a hill which domi-nates the Guadiana Valley. Visit of the old town.We will stop at São Pedro do Corval village, known for its hand painted pottery. Continue to Reguengos de Monsaraz.Lunch in a local restaurant. In the afternoon we will visit the city and of the most famous wine and olive oil producer of this region: Herdade do EsporãoReturn to the hotel for the dinner and the overnight stay.

Day 4

Évora - Estremoz - Borba - Vila Viçosa - ÉvoraBreakfast at the hotel. This morning we will visit the white and noble city of ESTREMOZ that is divided into two parts which characterize its evolution: the medieval area close to the castle and the modern city, outside the walls.Continue to BORBA where you will see a predominance of marble on the frames of the doors and windows, chimney pots, street signs and monu-ments. This fact is explained by the existence of several quarries in the region producing marble of the very highest quality.The Matrice church (Xv century), the São Bartolomeu church (XVI cen-tury) or the Bicas Fountain (XVIII century) are good examples of its use. Then we will leave to VILA VIÇOSA. Lunch. Located in of the most fertile regions of the south of Portugal, Vila Viçoca was often at the centre of some of the most important moments in the country’s history. Its here that has been established the palace of the Dukes of Bragança. It’s the most powerful noble family after the Royal family. This city is also known for its richness of marble, that is extracted and exploited in more than 160 quarries , internationally recognised (spe-cially the pink one). Visit of the marble museum. Return to the hotel for the dinner and the overnight.

Day 5

Évora - Marvão - Nisa - Arraiolos - EvoraBreakfast at the hotel.Departure towards Marvão.Visit of this withe village sitting high on a hill. Then, we will leave to Nisa. A little village in Alentejo, characterized by its typical white houses and known for its cheese made from sheep. With its really old history, this peaceful village kept the remains of the castle (XIII century), the remains of the original doors of the village, the Mother church (XV century), the Misericordia church (XVI century) as well as the chapels of the Calvary and Notre-Dame of pleasure (XVII and XVI century). Taste the famous local cheese during our walk in this village. Lunch at Nisa. In the afternoon, we will go to EVORA.On our way, we will stop at Arraiolos. The name of this town is well known internationally thanks to the famous Arraiolos carpets, which are pro-duced here by the local craftsmen and women.Arrival at the hotel for dinner and overnight stay. In the evening, you will listen the typical music of this region: « canto Alentejano ». The Polyphonic Alentejo song is now recognized has intan-gible cultural heritage by UNESCO. Singing by a chorus mixed without musical accompaniment, the Alentejo song is a popular and typical demonstration.These songs evoke the past feelings experienced.In earlier times these songs were fervently intoned during the work time or during the night for special event.

Fátima - Batalha - Nazaré - Óbidos - Lisbon or surroundings

After breakfast you will visit Batalha, where you cannot miss the church of the monastery of Santa Maria da Vitória, declared universal inher-itance by the Unesco and one of the masterpieces of Portuguese Gothic and Manueline art. It was built to celebrate the independence of Portugal.We will then continue to Nazaré, the most typical and colourful of the Portuguese fishing villages.Lunch (fish).Visit to the Sítio to have a wonderful view over the town and the beach. Day 4 Lisbon or surroundings - Sintra - Cascais - SetúbalAfter breakfast sightseeing tour of the “Sunny Coast“, the cosmopolitan Estoril and Cascais.Continue to the medieval village of Sintra (a Unesco world heritage site). Visit the charming Royal Palace .Return to Lisbon for Lunch.In the afternoon get to know the old and monumental Lisbon that was the capital of the world in the 15th century. At the riverside suburb of Belém, you’ll visit the church of the Hieronymus Monastery (Mosteiro dos Jerónimos), the jewel of Manueline art, built to glorify the return of Vasco da Gama from the Indies and the Belém Tower (exterior), built between 1515 and 1519 to defend the river mouth and the Hieronymus Monastery. Day 5

Setúbal - Évora - Algarve Departure to Évora, capital of Alentejo and a walled town where, you can visit the church of São Francisco whit its Bones Chapel, and the Roman Temple ruins. Rest of the afternoon is at leisure. Enjoy this typical town considered and a Unesco World Heritage Site. We will then continue to Algarve passing by the tableland of Alentejo, do-main of the cork oak, of the holm oak and of the olive tree. The beautiful bucolic landscape of this region is a reflex of its productions. Here you can still see shepherds with their herds.Arrival to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 6

Algarve - Lagos - Ponta da Piedade - Sagres - Cape St Vincent - AlgarveBreakfast at the hotel. Day dedicated to discover Algarve. Departure to Albufeira, a charming fishing village and former Moorish stronghold. We will then continue to Lagos a very important sailing centre where international championship often take place. LunchIn the afternoon, drive to the Ponta da Piedade, where you will have a magnificent panoramic view of the limpid green water.Departure to Sagres a peninsula where Prince Harry the Navigator lived the precursor of the Great Discoveries. Day 7 Algarve - Lisbon or surroundingsAfter breakfast we leave to Lisbon.We will arrive to the capital by the road bridge Vasco da Gama, one of the longest bridges in Europe. The 18km bridge connects the south bank to the north bank of Lisbon across the Tagus. Faial / Pico / FaialFull day tour to Pico with lunchMeeting at the Horta harbour. Boat crossing to the island of Pico.Departure from the village of Madalena harbour towards the village of Cachorro. The surrounding landscape is mostly vineyards, planted in small enclosed areas made of basalt stone. In the village of Cachorro, you can taste different local drinks, like verdelho, blackberry liquor or honey rum.After this visit the tour continues to São Roque. Stop to visit the old whale factory. Arrival in Lajes, the third village, located on the south coast. The stop includes a visit to the Whaler’s Museum. Lunch in a local restaurant.Return to Madalena and stop at a typical cheese factory, where you can have a taste of the Pico’s cheese. Visit to Wine Museum. Full day tour to furnas with cozido lunchArrival at Furnas valley - Furnas Valley has fumaroles, hot water, more than 20 thermal springs run trough the village place, which makes it one of the biggest hydropolis of the world.Visit to the lake, hot springs and surrounding holes where meals are cooked by underground volcanic steam.The lunch will be the “Cozido” at the restaurant of Hotel Terra Nostra.After lunch visit to the Botanical Garden, one of the most beautiful in the Azores (possibility to swim in a natural hot water swimming pool), and mineral water springs.Continue crossing to the north coast, passing by the tea plantation, unique in Europe.Visit to Gorreana tea factory to have a taste of the tea produced there. Day 3 Full day tour to Sete Cidades Departure from the hotel taking the mountain road towards the twin lakes. Stop at “Vista do Rei” viewpoint for a remarkable scenery.Descend to the valley of Sete Cidades on the crater ground, with oppor-tunity to leisurely walk along the shores of the green and blue lakes or just a coffee-break (not included).Continue through Mosteiros and Bretanha with lunch at a typical restau-rant.Return by Capelas, visit to the pineapple plantation growing in hothouses and return to the hotel.Dinner at Hotel. Day 4

Lagoa do Fogo + São Miguel/Terceira + Angra do HeroísmoDeparture from Ponta Delgada towards the village of Lagoa. Visit the ceramic factory.Continue by the mountain road towards Lagoa do Fogo and contemplate the island at an altitude of 900 metres. Descent North and short stop at the town of Ribeira Grande, famous by its basaltic architecture. The ex-cursion ends at the airport with interisland flight to Terceira. Arrival and transfer to the hotel located in Angra do Heroísmo. Lunch in a local restaurant. In the afternoon walking visit to the city of Angra do Heroísmo – world heritage by Unesco.Dinner at Hotel. Accommodation.

Day 5

Terceira - Full day tour to Terceira Departure from the hotel in Angra towards the viewpoint of Pico das Cru-zinhas in Monte Brasil. Stop at São Sebastião to visit the church and to have lunch in a local restaurant. Visit the “Algar do Carvão” cave and along Cabrito arrival at Biscoitos, visit the Wine Museum and natural swimming pools of black volcanic rock. Return to the hotel. Dinner at Hotel. Accommodation.

West TourAfter breakfast departure to the typical fishing village of “Câmara de Lo-bos”. The next stop is to visit the majestic sea cliffs of “Cabo Girão”.Next stop at “Ribeira Brava” and then head north, up through the deep and narrow valleys of “Serra de Agua” and “Encumeada” which are en-closed by very high, steep mountains, after which you reach the village of São Vincent. Then continue to “Porto Moniz”.Arrival to the village of “Porto Moniz”, which is famous for its series of natural volcanic pools created by reefs in the coastal lava rocks.Lunch at a local restaurant.After lunch reach the longest as well as the highest plateau of Madeira, “Paúl da Serra”. Then see the most picturesque village of them all, “Pon-ta do Sol”. Surrounded by the scenic mountains and the sparkling seas. “Ponta do Sol” is located on both sides of the river of the same name, and this peaceful village, full of charm and tradition, is home to some of the most beautiful old family homes and buildings.Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 6 East tourAfter breakfast departure to “Pico do Arieiro”. This village is one of the most important centres of wicker work, which is still a traditional product.Possibility to visit the hugest factory of the island. Arrival to “Pico do Arieiro” (1810 m), the second highest summit of the island.Stop at Faial for lunch.Next stop at Santana which is characterized by its small thatched tri-angular houses, that are built of natural stone and thatched with straw. Santana is probably one of the most emblematic tourist areas in Madeira Island.In the afternoon continue to “Machico”.Return to “Funchal” for dinner and overnight.
