Godrej Agrovet Limited (GAVL) is a diversified agribusiness company dedicated to improving the
productivity of Indian farmers by innovating products and services that sustainably increase crop and
livestock yields. With FY2012-13 consolidated sales of Rs. 3,100 crore, GAVL has interests in animal feed,
oil palm plantations, agri-inputs and poultry.
The Animal Feed business is India’s largest, producing over 1 million tons annually of high-quality feed
and cutting-edge nutrition products for dairy cattle, poultry & aquaculture. GAVL has also entered
Bangladesh through a JV with the ACI Group, where it is rapidly becoming a key player in animal feed
and poultry breeding.The Oil Palm Plantation business has over 51000 hectares of smallholder
cultivation across AP, Goa, Gujarat, Orissa, TN, Karnataka and Maharashtra. With potential cultivation of
200,000+ hectares, Godrej Agrovet is positioned to significantly reduce India’s crippling dependence on

market share in plant growth promoters, soil conditioners, and cotton herbicides.
The Poultry business, best known for the two brands Real Good Chicken and Yummiez, is now a JV with
Tyson Foods. Godrej Agrovet has 46 manufacturing facilities across India, a network of ~10,000 rural
distributors/dealers, and over 2250 employees.

Key Responsibilities of the role
Launching Psychometric Assessments for Manager and above hiring
Understand the various profiles and desired skill sets for Senior Executive & above at GAVL
Develop the required test parameters, to evaluate the products/vendors available in the market
Implement & integrate the test in hiring process Key capabilities required for this position: FUNCTIONAL CAPABILITIES
In-depth understanding of industrial psychology measurement tools
Ability to organize assessment centers

Consultant would closely be working with ER head & other ER leads of different business to identify
ER KPIs & its Business Linkage
Developing a common template to capture the data
Designing a common Dashboard for all business

Experience of Labour Laws and Industrial Relations in India
Worked on or aware of landmark case laws
Able to establish process & regulatory frameworks.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATION: MBA in HR / IT / Systems

The Corporate HR IT function is responsible for not only managing the current suit of HR applications
which includes SuccessFactor for Core HRMS, Recruitment, Compensation, Learning Management and
Talent Management (360, Performance, Goals setting) but also provide consulting services to make HR
and corporate processes more effective and efficient. The services rendered by the team includes day to
day support, interaction with the SF support team to resolve issues, Identify key changes /
enhancements and drive its adoption and new implementations as and when required. In addition to
this the team is also involved in running certain key Strategic HR projects from time to time aimed at
providing simple yet effective solutions to manage the HR and corporate processes better.

Project management for HRIS - Manage the entire lifecycle of the project right from start to finish
Clearly define the chain of communication to keep the stakeholders updated on the progress
Identify dependencies or bottlenecks and provide solutions
Test solution with the development team to ensure product is built as per specifications
Plan implementation and post implementation training and support
Key capabilities required for this position: FUNCTIONAL CAPABILITIES
- Good understanding and exposure to software implementation (HR ERP implementation – SAP,
PeopleSoft / Oracle, etc)
- In addition, developed and implemented bolt-on solutions like Leave management, On-boarding, Exit,
etc.
- Very strong conceptual expertise in fields Project management with good understanding of the project
lifecycle.
- Strong experience in dealing with vendors (negotiations on timeliness / commercials)
- Technical understanding so as to be able to ensure the vendors are providing the right solution and
approach
