Position Title: Ticketing Events Assistant Position Title: Ticketing Events Assistant Status: Non-exempt, part-time Department: Ticketing Supervisor’s Title: Director of Ticket Operations and Events Work Schedule: Variable hours depending on events of Ticketing Department. Must be able to work all home Texas A&M University football games JOB PURPOSE AND FUNCTION The 12th Man Foundation Ticketing Events Assistant is responsible for providing superior customer service to all customers at Athletic Events in accordance with the mission of the 12 th Man Foundation. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES To accomplish this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation, each essential function satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to help enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Arrive promptly to all scheduled shifts and events. Provide exceptional customer service to donors, general public, faculty/staff and other external customers through timely and satisfactory resolution of concerns or requests Utilize information disseminated from Ticketing Department, such as sales information notes or specific communication from manager Respond to customers requests and inquires accurately; refer customer to most qualified internal contact if unable to resolve Work effectively in automated ticketing software Accurately manage cash drawers when assigned; responsible for counting cash at the end of shift Follow NCAA rules pertaining to student-athletes, recruits, high school coaches and Athletic Department staff Maintain dress code standards as appointed by supervisor Other duties as assigned COMPETENCIES Organized - the ability to be structured and methodical in working skills Detail oriented - the ability to pay meticulous attention to all aspects of a situation or task Energetic - Ability to work at a sustained pace and produce quality work Communication, verbal - the ability to communicate with others using the spoken word Teamwork - the ability to participate in and lead a group of people towards a common goal Adaptability - the ability to adapt to changes in the workplace Customer Oriented- the ability to take care of the customers’ needs while following procedures Tactful- the ability to show consideration for and maintain good relationships with others Working under Pressure- the ability to complete assigned tasks under stressful situations QUALIFICATIONS Computer proficient (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook) and detail oriented Previous customer service a plus; display a genuine desire to help people Able to work evenings, weekends and possible holidays Professional image and demeanor
