Carrying on the discussion of disruptive technologies, Anas Shakil, Senior Partner– Global Sales, ThreadSol lead the second talk on the morning. He elaborated onthe upcoming trends of the world manufacturing and how ThreadSol solutionspowered by Artificial Intelligence, Big Data and Mobility can aid manufacturers.

Hesaid,“Thetrendsallovertheworldarechanging,Amazon(Ane-commercecompanybasedinUSA)holdsa6.6%shareofthefashionretailinUSAanditisexpectedtoriseto16.2%inthenext5years.Thisimpactoffastfashionwillgreatlyaffecttheglobalapparelmanufacturing.Fromouranalysisof154factoriesacross15countries,weseenumberofstylesperseasonarerisingataCAGRof17.9%.By2020,manufacturerswillhavetoplantwicethenumberofstylesastheydotoday,whereastheoverallquantitywillremainconstant.”
