Madras Opticians Association is one of the oldest Optical Association in India,

established in year 1943 and founded by some of the enterprises in Chennai. The

association and their members are representing the whole South Indian optical

market and optical fraternity. Association is actively involved in various activities

for the benefit of their members and optical trade.

The IIOO EXPO 2016 – India’s Most Happening Optical Event enjoyed

successful ending in this year with focus on the spectacle frame, lenses,

sun glasses, machineries, packing material and allied products.

IIOO EXPO 2016 provided one of the best platform to optical retailers,

trade stockiest & distributors, multi brand stores, ophthalmologists,

optometrists, and consultants. The show has achieved an estimated

6500 number of visitors, mainly opticians from Tamil Nadu, Karnataka,

Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and Sri Lanka.

Madras Opticians Association played a vital role for success of the show.

The association has facilitated all the past presidents and most senior

opticians in the inaugural function on day first. They have also hosted a

lavish dinner for 2000 exhibitors and visitors on day second. This

exhibition proved to be a bench mark for optical sector in terms of

management of the show as well as boost of whole optical industry in

South India.
