EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI) FOR DESIGN, DEVELOPMENT AND MAINTENANCE OF NEW MOBILE APPLICATION FOR POSTAL CORPORATION OF KENYA BACKGROUND Technology has become integral to our lives, and now many of the familiar postal services should be available at our fingertips on our mobile devices. In this regard, the Postal Corpora- tion of Kenya (PCK) desires to engage a mobile application development company for delivery of a customized mobile application on the three common mobile platforms namely Android, Windows and IOS. SCOPE OF SERVICES PCK wishes to have one mobile application that has all its products and services. These include but not limited to stampsales, mail tracking, postage calculator, post office locator, postal services and promotions broadcasts, latest news and press releases of PCK, EMS2GO. This application should be so deployed that it can be downloaded from appropriate market places. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA 1. The Applicant must be a registered firm having a registered office in Kenya or an overseas company having a partner in Kenya. 2. The Applicant should have Mobile Application Development Experience on any of the Platforms (Android / IOS). (Self-declaration mentioning the Name of the institution where implemented should be submitted). 3. The Applicant should have successfully executed at least 2 (two) contracts using standard platform, for mobile application development rich client in the platforms like Android, iOS, Windows etc. during the last 2 years. One of the companies for which the said contracts have been executed for should be from the banking or government sector. (Copy of LPO, or an experience certificate or an email from the client directly addressed to PCK official, verifiable by a phone call should be provided). 4. Technical Details of Web server, Application server, Database, Technology, Android SDK version, IDE, Middleware, dependency modules 5. The Applicant must be agreeable to a clearly spelt out revenue share licensing and delivery model with PCK for the application. All interested suppliers should submit their company profiles and attach the following statutory documents: a. Certificate of Incorporation b. Valid Tax compliance Certificate c. VAT Registration/PIN Certificate d. Valid AGPO registration certificate from treasury for the special groups e.
