As you save energy, you can then invest those savings in the development of renewable resources through the communergy app. The intention is to create communities which strive for the same goal, such as the construction of a solar panel field, windmill park, or tidal energy plant. Each member contributes a little bit at a time which grows into a large bank of savings. When a com- munity reaches its goal, the members enjoy shared ownership of a renewable energy service that reduces their energy costs and provides them with self sustaining electrical services. The campaign’s physical presence in the community takes the form of public installations in urban areas where people can see the progress of individual communities and learn more about the campaign as a whole. The installations are placed in different areas of a city to best showcase the technology being promoted as they are also powered by that renewable resource. The communergy installations are interactive to encourage people to gather and play, spending time interacting with the installation and each other. They consist of a platform and podium structure. The platform is an interactive grid of LED lights that responds to the movement of people across the floor. This interaction can be enhanced by the communergy app. People can listen to information and sound- tracks on the app, and the information stored by the app can amplify the visual responses from the floor. The podium serves as a visual tracker for the community goal, filling as they approach their target. It also functions as a gathering space and place to display infor- mation about the communergy campaign. ! $ $ $ $ $ $ $ communergy solar power A solar power installation would be placed in an open area such as a plaza or square where it could be exposed to direct sunlight. the campaignCommunergy is a multifaceted campaign that starts in the home, making use of app technology to track energy consumption on smart phones.

When a com-munity reaches its goal, the members enjoy shared ownership of a renewable energy service that reduces their energy costs and provides them with self sustaining electrical services.

People can listen to information and sound-tracks on the app, and the information stored by the app can amplify the visual responses from the floor.

The podium serves as a visual tracker for the community goal, filling as they approach their target. It also functions as a gathering space and place to display infor-mation about the communergy campaign.
