Postgraduate Student Cultural Exchange
The Programme was started in 2012.
Exchange institutions in 3 continents around the world, partnering with renowned overseas universities.
Established to expose our postgraduate students to broader cultural and academic learning experiences.

Help you to deepen your understanding, sensitivity and appreciation of cultural diversities, and enhance your intercultural competency skills

Academic Aspects You would be registered as not-for-degree visiting or
exchange students in the overseas universities.You would need to defer your study in CityU for 1 year. Study at least 4 courses in your host university.A schedule of study would be:

Tuition Fees
There will be NO tuition fees paid to CityU or the Partner Institution for the semester of your exchange.
Participating students must pay to CityU the Continuation Fee to maintain an active enrolment status at the University.
After students have accepted the exchange offer, theyneed to pay the Caution Money ($1,000) to GEO
Expenditure
Participating students are responsible for all theexpenses in the semester of your exchange study
o International TransportationoRoom and Board oHealth and Travel Insurance o Telephone Costs o Personal Expenses o Entertainment o Books and Related Instructional Materials
Minimum requirements
You must have:studied one year of your postgraduate
programme before commencing the exchange programme.
met the English language requirements of the host university (e.g. TOEFL or IELTS Scores)
met the admission requirements of the host university (e.g. GPA, language, etc)

We are looking for students with:Good communication skillsWell-rounded attributes and qualities needed
to help you flourish in an overseas environment Enthusiasm to be an ambassador of
CityU/Hong KongGood performance in selection interviews

• Application Period:1 to 30 November 2019
Submit the following documents online before the deadline: A recent passport-sized photo 1-min Video of (i) Self-Introduction or
(ii) Introduction of CityU campus facilities and services IELTS or TOEFL score report Reflect deeply in answering the questions in the “Applicant
Statement” Recommendation Form to be signed by the Programme
Director/Head of Department Any other supplementary information which you think would be
relevant to your application
