Problem

Each of us has watched a movie at least once. According statistics[0] over 80% of people watch more than 2 movies a month. Film industry has become for social within decades. Many people wish to share their impression about Acting, Special Effects, a cinema itself, quotes from a movie and a lot more things with their friends. Whereas production companies are in need of viewers’ at early stages of their projects and investors have to know weak and strong points of the projects.

SolutionPost-Premiere application gives users an opportunity to share nearly any information concerning movie premiers, trailers and cinemas. With the help of this app cinema owners can get their visitors’ feedback effortlessly. Producers can gather statistics about their projects, order promotion and run advertising campaigns. Film investors in their turn can get movie analysis resulting in important information about weak and strong points of the project.

ExecutionBefore starting the project we prepared thoroughly by exploring all the ways of content distribution. We read the book by Stacey Parks “The Insider's Guide to Independent Film Distribution”, studied the work of such companies as NBC, StudioSystems, ImDb com; learnt how film festivals are held and how films are make in general. Today we are confident that we are able to create a competitive application. We also have wireframes, domains registered and server side half made.

ExecutionOur team consists of 2 people. One of them is a strong iOS developer who has created an application for Dish.fm start-up, has been working for multiple media and advertising agencies including RIA Novosti and has experience in developing film applications. The other team member deals with public relations, market analysis in different countries and opportunities to enter them; interacts with other companies concerning commercial offers and presents the project on the whole.
