Using CIPP to Renew Aging Pipes Michels offers a variety of cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) rehabilitation solutions for pressure pipe applications. Our potable water main applications consist of a strong, durable CIPP composite able to withstand external loads and constant, high internal pressures. Michels uses fiberglass-reinforced CIPP lining systems with heavy thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO), polypropylene (PP) or polyethylene (PE) coatings for a minimum design life of 50 years.
