MOTOR BU - SANHSIA MOTOR PLANT INTRODUCTION
☆ Tatung Sanhsia Motor Plant, who is the rst production of industrial motors service for domestic business Industry and met with U.S. Westinghouse and Toshiba Corporation of Japan for long-term technical cooperation to bring in the technology of advanced countries, i.e. United States & Japan on manufacture techniques for motors and generators.
☆ In response to the export and domestic market demand, Tatung Company in 1972 began construction of the Sanhsia plant to expand production capacity, and successful completion of the new construction of the motor plant in 1974 as well as moved into the casting center, machine center and Tatung die casting company, commence with automatic production operations to provide excellent motor products, castings, machine and comprehensive after-sales service to domestic and foreign well-known customers. Tatung Shanghai Motor Company was established in 1998. In 2010, set up Tatung Shanghai large-scale high-voltage motor factory.
☆ Sanhsia motor plant produced 1/4 ~ 30,000 HP single-phase, three-phase, high-and low-voltage motor and generators, complete specifications, and include a variety of special motor and application systems, such as high-efficiency motors, explosion-proof motor, reduction gearbox, inverter motor, vertical high thrust motor, aluminum frame motor, inverter, brake motors, high temp. resistant smoke exhausting motor, oil well pump motor, water pump motor, EC variable speed motors, DC motors, rolling motors, elevator motors, crane motors, generators, hoist motors, various types of ventilators, marine, land use diesel engine generator set,..... etc.
☆ Tatung motor was first awarded the "National Quality Control Team Award", CNS Mark, cert i f ication of the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) and China Corporation Register of Shipping (CR) certi cation; Japan T Mark, American NEMA and UL, Canada CSA, European Union (European Community) CE MARK,.....etc., Tatung motor plant is awarded ISO-9001 certification in 1993, awarded ISO-14001 certification in 1999, certified by the U.S. Department of Commerce NVLAP Lab in 2002, awarded CSA safety explosion-proof motor cerfification in 2003. In 2007, awarded 4500HP 6.6kV below CSA CLASS II DIVISION 2 explosion-proof motor certi cation. In 2012, awarded motor generator TAF testing Laboratory certi cate quali cation.
