Promotion Objectives New Market Opportunity: Build a run rate business for mid-market

core switches

Promotion Strategy Offer an aggressive margin opportunity for reseller sales reps

selling to new customers – Expected that most of margin will be retained by resellers, encouraging

their investment in this new market vs. competitive offerings – Partner can leverage extra points to subsidize their own value-added

services

Offer a generous SPIFF to get the attention of reseller sales reps in a big way

New Customer VSP 8K Promotion Summary

Offer • An Incremental promotional discount off list to tier 1 and 2 resellers that sell VSP 8000’s and accompanying edge switches and transceivers into new customer sites for the following products and discount levels.

• 25% of APL for eligible VSP 8284 switches, power supplies, and rack mount kit • 35% of APL for eligible accompanying transceivers • 3% of APL for eligible accompanying VSP 4000 and ERS 4800 switches with accessories and

licenses • A SPIFF to resellers of $500 per qualifying VSP 8000 switch and $100 per qualifying VSP 4000 or ERS

4800 switch subject to the terms of the SPIFF

Minimum Requirements

• A new customer site is defined as a site that has not purchased any networking solutions since January 1, 2012.

• A minimum of 2 VSP 8000’s (of the same SKU) must be ordered; no maximum limit of VSP 8000’s applies.

• Eligible edge switches are limited to a quantity of 60 for every 2 VSP 8000’s (of the same SKU). Any combination of eligible VSP 4000 or ERS 4800 edge switches qualify.

• The quantity of 1G & 10G Transceivers cannot exceed number of SFP and SFP+ ports in the order. • One additional power supply per switch is allowed. • The maximum number of transceivers allowed is calculated below:

• Number of VSP 8000 * 60 • Number of VSP 4850 or ERS 4850 * 4 • Number of VSP 4450 * 38

• The opportunity must be entered into SalesForce.com prior to booking order and must follow the offer instructions.

• This program may not be combined with any other Avaya marketing promotions including Special Bid’s or Data Deal Registration

Timeframe July 7th through December 21st 2014

• Promotion enabled through MPM and must be pre-approved – See instructions on following page • Promotion will be audited for misuse and subject to claw back procedures • VSP 8000 is under controlled release through July and will also be monitored at order execution

Offer Process for Channel Partners 1. Create a quote as normal 2. Process the quote through the Marketing Promotions Module

(MPM) within the Avaya Enterprise Configurator (EC) and apply the promotion code

3. Attach the quote and send via email to [email protected] for pre-approval with the following subject line: New Customer VSP Promo <Quote number>

4. Receive approval in a reply email prior to placing an order with your distributor

Notes: - Reseller is not required to provide approval to distributor to place an order - Product will be in controlled release until August 4th
