In 2012, the Citizen Art Shanghai (AArt), the first International hotel art fair in China gathering the galleries and agencies from China Mainland, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, Southeast Asia, France and USA, etc. and building the distinctive brand connotation through international perspective, was successfully held. AArt makes the hotel rooms become spaces of art experience, and develops to be a unique one among numerous art exhibitions based on the theme of “Dialogue between Art and Life”. Through the accumulation of 6 years, we have expanded to Chengdu in 2014, and further established the citizen art fairs jointly with Ningbo in 2015 and 2016. We have also built up a high quality artworks collection and exchange platform centering on Shanghai and radiating the Changjiang River Delta Region. The AArt 2016 lasting three days attracted nearly 100 professional medias and numerous participants, which reflected the outcome brought by the abundant art consumer groups and high-end collectors accumulated by AArt through the stable development of many years. The 2017 AArt, which will be held simultaneously with the West Bund Art & Design and Art 021, aims at reflecting the orientation advantage of AArt while sharing the advantages of media reporting and collector resources: Mainly focus on promoting small and medium original artworks while exploring the life-oriented art derivatives to make collection become a “noble but not expensive” lifestyle. During the outstanding art ceremony in Shanghai, the collectors from all over the world and the local audiences will appreciate not only the artworks of world leading galleries but also the small but beautiful artworks of life. During the past 5 years, AArt has been focusing on exploring the aesthetics of art and life; and for the future 5 years, AArt will lead the trend of life-oriented art jointly with the partners. About AArt

Direction of Efforts The purpose of AArt to build the Changjiang River Delta City Exchange Platform: Expanding the business opportunities of exhibitors; integrating the level of art consumption; and promoting the sustainable business mode.

Goal 1. Invite 60-80 professional galleries and art agencies from China Mainland, Taiwan, Japan, Europe, USA, Southeast Asia and Australia, which are distributed on the second and third floors. 2. Divide the space into a professional gallery zone and a special exhibition zone. Add the sections of contemporary ceramics, intangible cultural heritages and life & cultural products. The professional gallery zone covers 70%, and the special exhibition zone covers 30%. 3. Enlarge the participation of citizens, concentrate local humanistic spirit, deeply explore the art industry in Shanghai, and comprehensively develop various art activities through coordinating with various resources in Shanghai and surrounding the special themes of cultural life, public welfare and environmental protection. 4. Cooperate with the academic field to hold academic forums, closely connect with the industry and promote correct concept of art collection based on academics. 5. Expand the brand influence, improve the advantages of self-medias, regularly publicize the information of 2017 AArt through the professional media including TV, broadcasting, websites and magazines, and actively promote the excellent works in the fair. 6. Try the best to invite the audiences from foreign consulates, foreign enterprises, listed companies, state-owned enterprises, major banks, private banks and other industries. Regularly hold art salons before the fair to develop with the local partners, foster the new art force in China, and establish the most life-oriented art ceremony in Asia.

AArtVenue：Twelve at Hengshan, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Shanghai

About the Hotel 2017 AArt will be held at Twelve at Hengshan, a Luxury Collection Hotel with Shanghai culture affiliated to the top-end hotel brand of Starwood Group and is located in downtown on Hengshan Road (former French concession area) with Shanghai style. During the past 4 years, we have established the example of perfect combination of AArt and Hotel based on Twelve at Hengshan. The hotel is designed by a world famous Italian architect Mario Botta, who is also the chief designer of San Francisco Modern Art Museum and Seoul Samsung Art Museum. Its unique indoor designing is finished jointly by George Yabu and Glenn Pushelberg. The designing firm YabuPushelberg founded by them has undertaken the indoor designing for St. Regis Hotel in San Francisco and W Hotel in New York Times Square. The exterior wall is decorated with more than 20,000 pieces of natural terracotta bricks imported from Italy, which can perfectly match the thousands of European style villas within the block. There is a “secret garden” in the center part with flowing streams and flourishing plants, which creates a peaceful and comfortable meditation atmosphere. Based on the cooperation of many years, the 2017 AArt will cooperate with the hotel to hold a high quality citizen art show for another time.

Information for Exhibitors 1.Exhibitors: Domestic and foreign art galleries, art institutions, art foundations, cultural and creative agencies, etc. 2.Exhibited works: Domestic and international modern and contemporary art works, limited design and creativeproducts, etc. 3.Price of works: Most works are below RMB50,000, may also arrange a small amount of high-priced outstanding works. On the exhibition site, the works shall be affixed withlabels marked with the prices. 4. Most works shall be created during the recent two years. 5. The Review Committee of the sponsor will review the galleries and artists applying for attending the fair. 6. Based on resolutions of the Review Committee, the AArt Organizing Committee reserves the right to agree or reject certain galleries to attend the fair. 7. The galleries shall not change or transfer their booths to other galleries without permission. 8. The works shall not be counterfeits and craftworks.

Application The Organizing Committee of 2017 AArt is entitled to determine the qualifications of the applicants. Please notice that the applications submitted after June 30, 2017 will not be accepted. 1. Confirmation of application After receiving the application e-mail, the Organizing Committee will confirm the application through e-mail. If you fail to receive the confirmation e-mail within two weeks after submitting the application, please contact us directly to complete the application procedure. 3. Notice for approved application The Review Committee will carefully review the application documents submitted by the galleries, and is entitled to request the applicants to replace the works and artists. The results of review will be informed through e-mails.

The applicants approved shall pay the booth expenses according to the term stipulated in this application brochure to ensure their rights, benefits and qualifications. The Organizing Committee is entitled to reject the applications of the applicants failing to make the payment on schedule, and rearrange their booths to other applicants approved.

1. While checking in, please tell the name of exhibitor and check in with the name of actual guest. The hotel will charge the deposit of RMB 10,000/room, which will be repaid within one week if no damage is found upon checking out (please confirm whether there are damages in the room upon checking in). 2. From the beginning of exhibition layout to the completion of move-out, all the participants mustpresent the uniform certificate issued by the Organizing Committee for entrance and exit during theexhibition period. 3. The galleries must open the booths and arrange special staff according to the uniform exhibition time. No booth shall be opened late or closed ahead of schedule. 4. Sales and settlement: Exhibited works are sold directly by the exhibitors, and exhibitors shall pay taxesaccording to the provisions of the state. The Organizing Committee will not participate in the sales of anyworks. The Organizing Committee provides POS machine collection service and charges 2% collectionfees. 5. Site cleaning: For the safety of works, the exhibitors shall keep the booths clean during the fair. The hotel will only arrange cleaning staff during the specific time before the start of every day (please arrange representatives to stay in the booths during the fair), and exhibitors are expected to keep the exhibition environment clean and tidy. 6. If the exhibitors fail to restore the booths, including the moved furniture, after the fair, the hotel will collect the room charge for another night. 7. Exhibitor service: The Organizing Committee provides a certain number of free hanging materials.Purchasing of special hanging materials and package materials; hotel reservation; the field servicestations provide note verification, a small amount of hanging materials and package materials lease/saleand other related services. For any questions or needs, exhibitors may contact the site service personnel. 8. Translation service: The Organizing Committee can arrange translators for exhibitors (pay service), please make reservations in relevant forms.

Exhibition Management and Service

If the exhibited works involves import and export, the exhibitors shall provide timely information to thecommittee in order to facilitate customs declaration and customs clearance in a timely and smoothmanner. Sales of goods abroad will generate a corresponding tax, so please consider the cost. Alloperations shall strictly follow the relevant provisions of the state. In case any exhibitor fails to participatein the exhibition due to his own reason, the Organizing Committee reserves the discretion.

Import and Export

1. Do not store inflammable and explosive and dangerous goods in the exhibition hall, and no items shallbe kept or posted in public areas without the approval from the Organizing Committee. For the randomplacement, the Organizing Committee has the right to dispose. 2. In order to ensure the safety of the works, the Release Pass issued and stamped by the Organizing Committee isneeded to take the exhibits out of the site during the exhibition period, with the signature of the personresponsible for the booth to be submitted to the site management personnel before exit. 3. During the exhibition and until the completion of move-out, all exhibits and articles shall be managedby the exhibitors themselves, if necessary, please arrange insurance measures. The OrganizingCommittee will not bear any insurance liability to any exhibits and exhibitors. 4. Upon the force majeure including flood, fire, earthquake, snow disaster, store, war, strike, disturbance and government actions, the Organizing Committee is entitled to cancel, postpone or suspend the fair, and the exhibitors shall not claim the loss against Party A, and the expenses already paid by Party B will not be repaid. .
