LEARNING PURPOSE

LO1: I will create/ design a SHOE DESIGN for

a customer based on their personal

interests.

LO2: I will research imagery using online

resources to inspire my SHOE DESIGN.

LO3: I will aim to apply all media (pencils,

pens, highlighters and paint) with accuracy

to ensure my creation is successful.

Prior Learning

• Constructing/ Designing products in Yr7 Technology.

• Creating Artworks with Colour, Line and Composition.

• Aiming for neat and accurate drawing

skills.

• Imaginative Neon Sign (Week 1

SHOE DESIGNTHE BRIEF:

NIKE would like to your help in designing 2/3 different styled trainers that would appeal to

different users/customers.

You must choose three customers and redesign their basic trainer to suit that user, these

could be family members or created by using the client cards.

MUST: Your task is to create 2 Shoe Designs suitable for your different users. You could

either adapt the printable worksheet or draw your own trainer. You should add labels and

descriptions to aid your design concept.

SHOULD: Your task is to create 3 Shoe Designs suitable for your different users. You could

either adapt the printable worksheet or draw your own trainer. You should add labels and

descriptions to aid your design concept.

COULD: You should for the best results add some form of colour. This could be through

colouring pencils, felt tip pens, highlighters or paints (Use what you have available.)

YOU NEED TO ENSURE YOU KEEP YOUR ART & TECH WORK SAFE SO THAT YOU CAN

RETURN YOUR WORK TO YOUR TEACHER-WORK CAN BE PRODUCED ON INDIVIDUAL PIECES OF A4 PAPER OR IN A

SKETCHBOOK IF YOU HAVE ONE AVAILABLE.
