Anyone can claim their product is a good product. This is why we, at DYKA, felt that the quality of the Solydo

system needed to be demonstrated in actual practice. We put our PP-HM pipes to the test, based on conditions

often encountered at a construction site. Tests using a crowbar and a shovel were followed with the ultimate

test: an excavator.

Solydo versus excavator: 1-0What happens when an excavator at a construction site

accidentally hits a pipe? And how does the Solydo system

respond when it is put under heavy pressure? The

driver let’s his excavator loose on a Solydo pipe to see

whether it would survive without damage or

deformation. Scraping, laying into and dropping objects on

the pipe; we tried everything. The Solydo system came

through these tests with flying colours. None of the tests

had any effect on the pipe.

The glazed clay pipes did

not survive any test.

without any damage.

Quality mark guaranteeThe entire Solydo system comes with a quality mark

guarantee issued by KOMO in the Netherlands, BENOR in

Belgium and NF in France. This assures customers,

system complies with all nationally applicable directives.

What is PP?PP stands for polypropylene and is virtually

indestructible plastic. The material is reasonably

stiff, has a high temperature-resistance and is

highly resistant to chemical solutions and acids.

PP can also be cut and welded. In other words, ideal

for pipelines.
