    Pulp commonly referred to as aPure in the US, is the purestextract of the fruit, which is in thenatural form of thick viscousliquid. Pulp is obtained by thecommercial process of matureand ripened fruit by passing itthrough it through a 0.78 mmsieve

    Fruit oncentrate is obtainedafter evaporating water fromfruit pulp. The water isevaporated by treating pulpunder vacuum at 0 degree

    elsius. The Yield in

    concentrate is more comparedto pulp. The yield differsaccording to fruit, in case ofmango 2 kg of pulp yields 1 kgof concentrate.

    largest Danish suppliers of fruitbased raw material offers awide range of tropical fruitcompounds developed for thediary industry. Several differentfruits are mixed with moreexotic and functionalingredients such as calcium,

    minerals, fibers and vitamins.

    JuiceFruit juice is more liquid in naturedue to its water content. It also

    contains additives andpreservatives approved by the USFDA. Juices have a shelf life of8 months. Most fruit based

    products are fortified with omega-3 fatty acids, Calcium, vitamins,minerals, fibers and many otherfunctional ingredients.
