The Minister of State for Niger Delta Affairs, Prof. Claudius Daramola, has advised the staff of the University of Ilorin not to put their financial eggs in a single basket. He said they

should rather seize available opportunities outside the confines of the University, without jeopardizing their primary assignment, by engaging in impactful research and social activities that could fetch them more recognition and connection.

Prof. Daramola gave this advice penultimate Saturday (January 19, 2019) at the presentation of a book in his honour, entitled “Professor Claudius Omoleye Daramola That I Know” and a journal entitled "Special Nigerian Journal of Educational Foundations", to celebrate his 70th birthday and mark his retirement from the services of the University.
