І. Significance
IFNTUOG considers development of unconventional gas deposits (shale
gas, coal bed methane, tight gas) in Ukraine is significant for sustainable
state development.

Scientific-educational center “Energy efficient technologies at oil and gas production, transportation and
storage systems"
In terms of "Science at universities during 2008-2017" State specialized sci-tech and social program, "Elaboration and implementation of ebergy efficient technologies at oil and gas active energy consuming facilities" Project No 1. Total cost is 800 000 UAH. Period of Implementation: 10.2011-12.2012 Project No.2. Total cost – 960 000 UAH. Period of Implementation: 08.2013-12.2014.

Technical committee of standardization TC 146
"Oil and gas industry mateials, equipment, technologies and structures" TC146 was established
23.04.2002 р. according to DSSU order № 252, approved by Ministry of Fuel and Energy ofUkraine,
which comprises 21 organizations
TC 146 is an active participant in work of ISO/ТС 67 „Materials, equipment, structures at continental
shelf for oil and gas, petrochemical and gas industry". TC 146 is member of interstate technical
committee MTC 523 "Upstream and downstream technics and technology" and is an affiliated member
of CEN/TC 12 «Materials, equipment and shelf structures for oil and gas industry" and CEN/TC234 «Gas
infrastructure»
3 standards (DSTU) and 3 GOST projects were developed, as well as 6 standard projects, developed by
other TCs, 30 international standards, sent by ISO/TC 67, 20 interstate standards were developed
during 2012.
