CDRC Handout for Patients

Frequently asked questions about CDRC appointment:

Do I absolutely have to have it?

Consider the digital diagnostic information as an early warning system. The imaging and the measurements are crucial for the doctors to arrive at an accurate diagnosis and to establish a baseline that will allow your dental team to monitor the progress of your treatment and/or the continued health of your gums and teeth.

Will my insurance cover these procedures?

Insurance companies pay for a panoramic x-ray every 5 years. They have not yet included the rest of the diagnostic procedures of their standard of care coverage. However, an $155 investment allows patients and their dental team to make informed and timely decisions about the preventive or restorative care that insurance carriers routinely pay for.

Why should I pay for Comprehensive Diagnostic Records Consultation?

As a valued patient of our practice you must take an active role in caring for your oral health by agreeing to this proactive measure. Comprehensive care requires comprehensive diagnostics.

Excellent preventative services provided. David

I have been a patient for 10+ years and Bobby and Tom are the best dentists I have ever used. They are gentle and caring. They really focus on the patient and what is going on, missing nothing! They are knowledgeable and share their expertise with their staff and interns. Their experience with "bite" issues has saved me thousands of dollars and multiple teeth! They explain my options and what I can expect from each procedure. Their staff have been with them for many years, growing in expertise because of their open learning practices. I could not recommend them more highly. Linda

We have had our dental work done here for several decades and would not go anywhere else. The staff is top-rate and we are confident that we are getting the best care. They care about their patients. Cindy

T-Scan as a method of communication creates value for patients and sets our practice apart.17
